Eligibility Criteria

Diploma

Eligibility of the candidate for Entrance to any of the courses shall be at least Senior Secondary (+2) or equivalent examination passed with Sanskrit as one of the subjects

B.A

Rs. 5.86 K

Higher Secondary Examination/Intermediate or equivalent examination from any State Board of School Education, or University with Sanskrit as one of the subjects. 5. Vedavibhushan Examination conducted by Maharishi Sandipani Vedavidya Pratishthanam.

B.A (Hons)

Rs. 5.86 K

Higher Secondary Examination/Intermediate or equivalent examination from any State Board of School Education, or University with Sanskrit as one of the subjects. 5. Vedavibhushan Examination conducted by Maharishi Sandipani Vedavidya Pratishthanam.

B.Ed

-

Shastri of the Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan or an equivalent traditional degree from any University or recognised examining body or B.A. in 10+2+3 education pattern (with Sanskrit as one of the main subjects) or Acharya / M.A. (Skt.) having obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate, only after passing the PSST conducted by the Sansthan.  

M.A.

The applicant must have passed any of the following examinations

Shastri from Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, or any other Sanskrit University, or any recognized institution.

 Shiromani from Madras University, Annamalai University, Shri Venkateshwara University, Tirupati.

 Vidvadmadhyama from Karnataka Government.

Shastrabhushan (Prelim.) from the Kerala Government.

 Vidyapraveena from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam.

 BA with Sanskrit as one of the subjects from any recognized university.

M.Ed.

The candidate who has passed Shiksha-Shastri/B.Ed with Sanskrit as teaching subject 55% in aggregate and in practical and theory min 50% in each part.5% concession for SC/ST.

Ph.D

-

A student who has passed with 55% or more marks in Acharya or an equivalent examination.

D.Litt

-

A student who has passed Shastri and Acharya or equivalent examinations with Sanskrit may be admitted to Vidya Varidhi, This corresponds to a Ph.D. in modern education.
