i am currently doing my BTech in NIT Calicut.So if you are interested in Enginnering this post would clear all your doubts.As you know admissions into NIT Calicut is based on JEE Mains.JEE Mains is held twice a year one in January and the other in December.Since NIT Calicut or you homestate NIT Surathkal are some the best colleges in the country you need to do very well to get addmissions here.
Now regarding the Fee structure it 1.25 lakhs per year for General Candidates and varies with reservation and economical conditions.Hostel fees would be about 40k a year.Hope I was able to help you out.
