The Academics of Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai is excellent. All the professors are well experienced in their respective fields and curriculum of the courses are also very good and world class.

    College Infra

The infrastructure of well-known Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai is amazing. we have all the necessary departments available with good infrastructure and we have also a very huge library in the campus.

    Placements

    Academics

The academic curriculum is excellent, with a lot of emphasis on fieldwork and internships, which allows us to achieve a balance between theoretical and practical aspects. The professors are highly qualified.

    College Infra

The infrastructure is excellent. Particularly libraries and Hostel Facilities. But tbh, you cannot expect a state of the art facilities such as in IIM's from TISS, since it is a campus with focus on Social Sciences.

    Campus Life

Very engaging. But from my experiences, not so much of cultural activities compared to what I used to get during my graduation. However, regarding academic activities and engagements, TISS is consistently among the finest hotspots in the country.

    Placements

Each school/department has separate placement committees and independent placement processes for finals and internships. I urge people to review the LinkedIn IDs of respective courses to get an idea of the actual placement stats.

    Value For Money

Absolutely. The entire tuition fee would be around 2 lakh only, for two years typically. If we compare that with the placements we are getting and analyse the ROI, it's much, much better than many IIMs. The peers and experiences that we have here are also great.

    Best college in mumbai

    Academics

Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The course is relevant, but some students are having problems with on-the-job training, like they haven't gotten a company yet. The course will make students industry-ready. Semester exams are of average difficulty. We will pass if we study.

    College Infra

Wi-Fi and classrooms are good. They don't provide hostel facilities. We are living outside for rent, but the rented room is good. We don't have labs, so we bring our own laptops. There is a medical facility available; we have a health center. For sports, we play on the ground. Students usually go there and play.

    Placements

70% of the students got internships at different companies. I got into Cybertech Akola. I have no idea about placements. In our class, there are 30 students, which is the strength of the course. Faculty members are still trying to get companies for the students.
