University of Mumbai offers admission to various courses at different levels. In order to be considered for Mumbai University admissions, candidates must fill out pre-admission forms, which are available online. Online Mumbai University admission forms have been made available for candidates who have completed their class 12 exams and wish to take admission to first-year BA, BSc, and B.Com programmes offered at different colleges affiliated to the University of Mumbai.
The affiliated colleges will begin releasing the Mumbai University 2026 merit list after the admission form and pre-enrollment form have been submitted. A merit list will be prepared by Mumbai University based on the marks obtained by candidates in the qualifying Class 12 examination or its equivalent. Three merit lists will be released based on the different categories of candidates and programmes. On the date specified by the college, qualified candidates must complete the Mumbai University admission process and document verification.

Master of Science, BE Mechanical Engineering, and MCom results have been released by Mumbai University on June 20, 2026. For programmes like BE Electrical Engineering, ME Electrical Engineering, BE CSE AI and MI, MA Economics, and MA English, the results were released on June 19, 2026.

Students wishing to apply for UG programmes at Mumbai University admissions 2026 have to fill out the Mumbai University registration form in online mode. The university will open the Mumbai University registration form submission window soon. Mumbai University admission forms must be filled out and submitted along with the pre-allotment forms available on the same website. Candidates must first register themselves on the Mumbai University registration link by entering all the required details, such as the name of the candidate, date of birth, gender, mobile number and many more.
