TISS Hyderabad Admissions: TISS Hyderabad offers various courses in postgraduate, PG diploma and doctoral levels. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply for admission at TISS Hyderabad. The admission to postgraduate programmes will be done through  TISS National Entrance Test (TISSNET) and TISS Online Assessments (OA). The TISS-NET is conducted to shortlist candidates for stage 2 based on the TISSNET score and the ratio on the number of seats announced for individual programmes under each category. No reservation rules are applied at this stage to shortlist candidates. TISS Online Assessment is the stage 2 in the TISS selection process for PG admissions. The final score is calculated based on stage 1 and stage 2 of the TISS selection process.

Admission to PG Diploma courses is based on candidates' performance in the TISS - NET and personal interview. Admission to various  Ph.D. programs at TISS HYderabad will be given through the Tata Institute of Social Sciences Research Aptitude Test (TISS RAT) and the personal interview. The duration of TISS RAT is 2 hours and the maximum number of marks a student can get is 100 marks. The shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview, carrying 100 marks.
