Therefore, Amolakchand Law College, situated in Yavatmal city of Maharashtra state, India, was set up in 1962 to provide legal education for society. Situated on Godhani Road, the college is well poised to have a large 40-acre campus to facilitate learning. This three-programme is BCI approved, and the law school currently has a total enrolment of 367 students in its three-programme offers. The college has a total of 6 faculties, all of whom are dedicated teachers, which keeps the student-to-teacher ratio in college at a reasonable ratio. Indeed, pride and proving of various facilities meet the needs of every student in order to support an effective learning environment. 

The library is a large commercial library, where essential services include a readers’ room, computerised search facilities, and book stock of relevant reference books, new journals, and magazines. Online as well as offline access to the Legal Data Base (LawFinder) is provided to students, and the library is being automated using SOUL 3.0 (LMS). In this regard, a separate E-Resource Access Centre with broadband connection and free WiFi has been provided to support digital learning. Using the College’s website and navigating to the Library menu, a list of various sources of information is provided Including Open Access databases, E-resources, and E-books. For lovers of sports, the college provides opportunities to engage in college and University activities within sporting activities facilities. The operating society has supplied a well-equipped gymnasium that encourages the physically fit students. 

Amolakchand Law College has complete coursework in law for students to choose from in relation to their educational goals. The institution provides three full-time courses: the 3-year LLB, the 5-year BA LLB integrated course, and the 6-year Ph.D. in Law programme. The college has nearly 734 total approved intake seats for all programmes to give promising chances to the budding legists. Out of all the courses offered in the university, the BA LLB programme has the highest number of intakes for this year, having 600 seats, while the LLB programme intakes 120 students, and the Ph.D. in Law programme intakes 14 students.

Next round during the academic year, the MHCET Law test is going to be executed online on 19-20 March 2025. So, potential students should take note of this date and prepare accordingly. Applying for MHCET Law usually takes place through online procedures months prior to the dates of the examinations.

Eligibility conditions might vary from the program. For the LLB program, candidates must have completed their graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university. For the integrated BA LLB program, those students who have passed 12th standard or any equivalent examination are eligible to apply. Degree-wise Admission Process

LLB: 3-Year LLB Course: The LLB course run by Amolakchand Law College has a sanctioned intake of 120 seats. Ph.D Law: The college offers a Ph.D. program in Law that accommodates up to 14 seats. This program has a more specialized admission process. Candidates will have qualified through the National Eligibility Test (NET) of UGC, the State Eligibility Test (SET), or the MPET examination of SGB Amravati University. This ensures that doctoral candidates have a solid foundation in research methodology and subject knowledge.
