Gargi’s infra is well above most colleges of DU but can be improved as to accommodate for the high number of students. The classic Red brick is a plus. I’m a commerce student so can’t say much about laboratory. Library is nice.
It’s known for its academics and the faculty for B.Com (H) sure proves the point. The teachers actually care about the students and make us clear about the concepts . Punctuality and attendance issues are present which is good tbh.
The companies that came now are Accenture EY DeloitteUSI and dream slot DE shaw. Pretty satisfied. Highest salary was 18 L last year. This year I’m going through the placements ..the dream slot for DE is 21 L for finance research profile.
Cant say much here because of Covid but 1st year went pretty well . Reverie is well known.
Even though we never got a chance to visit the campus, I got ro see bundles of photos which makws me wanna go there even more. The auditorium of Gargi College is something special and unique. There are different buildings for eavh department.
I am pursuing BA (Economics + Political Science) from Gargi college and I am an aspirant for UPSC. The teachers and department heads are quite good. We are constantly told to give reviews on them whatsoever. The curriculum is updates every semester which makes it quite complex but our teavhers help us provide with the study material via pdfs and even hard copies they arrange themselves.
I have heard that the placement cell of Gargi is explicitly good. If you think tgat mere BA or B com will not make you a good competitor, you're wrong because the placement cell of gargi makes sure you do ample amount of internships in ypu 3 year course which makes you really good competitor for jobs.
Per year cost is 12,600 INR. which is very feasible
Never got to have one but have heard tremendous stories.
Red bricks with beautiful plants all around. It makes one day too much beautiful. The aura is so motivating and takes all the stress away as soon as you enter inside. Full positive vibes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Teachers are understanding and have good bond with students. All departments are beautiful , have very good teachers, they are friendly too and teach in a very simple to understand manner...........:)
Certified placements are available. We have so many opportunities to be a part of any placement. Interviews are also worth giving as they develp one's confidence to an extent , everything is so secure.
Its 101% worth of money studying here. Everything from societies to academics is outstanding.
Beautiful canteen and some delicious food makes the campus life lovingly outstanding.
I feel lucky to be a part of the college and it's very it feels very prestigious to study here.
Gargi college have a good infrastructure. Though we are unable to attend our offline colleges but we visited it once and see the beauty of college its worth. All the places are so hygienic specially gardens are so clean.
Teachers are very well supportive. They provide all kind of study materials, they helped us a lot in this pandemic time. They solved our queries time to time without any problem. And teachers are really very knowledgeable and teaches us with their best efforts.
As far as I see the placement cell through Instagram pages, it's an average they provide low package so may be that is the reason less participants will participate in placement. But many students got high annual packages and also doing great in their lives.
Political science hons. In gargi college have a reasonable fees which allow every child to
Heard from all other students college life of gargi is best but we aren't able to attend our college and not be able enjoy our college life. But as we seen and go through Instagram pages and heard from seniors college life of gargi is wonderful.
I'm delighted to be a part of this college. Now we are just praying for our college to be open soon so that we can actually sense and see the beauty of our college actually and able to enjoy our campus life .
Gargi College has an impressive infrastructure. The iconic red building has got everything a student needs. Huge classrooms, library, computer lab, canteen. Its also has a Nescafé. All in all students love being here
The best thing about the college is it's academics. Professors are humble and are very clear with the concepts. Not just that, they are also quite tech-savvy. Classes also happen regularly. Students are not burdened with assignments and the ones that are given to us always help us learn something. One can say that the college functions with a lot of professionalism and makes you a capable person.
Though I haven't yet graduated, I can tell you that the placements after graduation have been great here. The average package generally is 4-6 lpa whereas the highest package went 12 lpa last time. The students are also given opportunities in the form of internships which makes them ready for the future.
I am enrolled into the BA Programme course of the college which costs somewhere around 12k per annum. Rest other courses also cost more or less the same. I personally feel that the fees is quite affordable plus the atmosphere and education provided is phenomenal here.
It's hard to tell how the campus feels with all the crowd given that our batch never got the opportunity to attend college offline. But one can surely say that it must be fun given how amazing the campus is.
If you are serious about your studies and are seeking for a college that provides holistic development for it's students, Gargi College will not disappoint you. Be it offline or online, you would love to be a part of it.
The infrastructure and campus is very nice and has all the required facilities and is well equipped. Labs and library is very well updated. The college does not have a hostel but rest every facility is available . Sometimes you might face network issue in the college premise.
It's one of the top college for commerce and arts courses in DU.The teachers are super suppprtive and experianced. DU curriculum is very diverse and interesting which truly enhances your knowledge and skills.
The college has a placement cell which looks after internship opportunities and job offers for the students. There are many good companies like deloitte, accenture which come for college placements. It has a decent placement every year.
The fees is really affordable since it's a government college. Average fees for most of the courses is approximately between 8k to 16k
The college infrastructure is amazing. It is located in South Campus of DU and the location is awesome. However, the college doesn't have a good network reception but it has free wifi everywhere. There is also a canteen on campus.
I am BSc life science student and so far my experience is good. The faculties we have here is very dedicated. If you want to take up anything like research project work they are always on board to help you.
The placement cell of our college is always up to their task. They make sure that you get matched to the companies which is fit for you. Also, you can do internships with reputed companies like BLACK TIE during your college time
I am not entirely sure about the infrastructure as I haven’t had the pleasure of visiting Gargi College due to the pandemic. Though it looks great from the outside and they are going to add a new building soon.
The teachers are knowledgable and indulge in discussion. They ensure that we can get the most out of our education. They are also understanding of the restraints we endure due to the online mode. Therefore they try to make the classes as interactive as possible.
Well I find that there aren’t as many opportunities in the field of history and research provided by our Placement Cell. Though there are plenty of opportunities provided for commerce and science students.
I spent around 12,000 rupees for an year and I think that is highly affordable and great for the education I am being provided with.
Can’t provide a response regarding campus life due to the online mode though everybody is very sweet and helpful.
No
Due to covid-19 i haven't got a chance to visit my college but yes i have seen many google images and also heard a lot from seniors that gargi college have nice infrastructure . Red walls are just amazing ,as well as cafeteria and i have also heard about fest that happens in gargi college. Hoping that our batch also get chance to visit college from next year
I am studying English literature and german in gargi college i have chosen these as discipline specially german because i love to learn foreign language and talking about our teacher Miss Rima Chauhan mam its very lucky to have teacher like her because she is amazing she is not only good teacher but kind and helpful person also.Talking about job opportunities yes german language have lot of scope and studying from one the best colleges of DU i think i will get a job in good company.
I am in 2 year so don't know about placements but yeah internships opportunities from starting are good. There are lot of people who have studied from Gargi college and they are very successful in their life so hoping for best.
12000 is my college fees per year. Yes it's worth it to study here.
Don't know haven't visited college yet.
Gargi is good college but when we'll go in college then know about college more.
The washrooms are very dirty. There is no water at all. They are stinky. People go to restaurants to pee. Moreover, there are very few classes and too many students. Disgusting infrastructure. And yes, no network at all!!!!!!!
Good academics.. you will be exposed to many new topics and research competitions. You can learn a lot from your teachers and future prospects are good after graduation from Gargi. So think before taking admission
Placements are fine but don't expect a lot. Average package is 4lpa for most courses but one or two companies offer 18-19 lakh per annum. Placement cell works hard but expect a job. Not everyone gets a job.
Very less fees
Very good exposure
Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College, New Delhi, will be the best option among the Gargi, ARSD, and Khalsa College if the distance is not the parameter.
SGTB Khalsa College is the oldest college with the best infrastructure and phenomenal teaching faculty. Every facility is available in this college.
For Maths Hons, I suggest you prefer SGTB Khalsa over other colleges; else, ARSD is not a bad option.
