Gargi College admissions 2025 are open.
The campus is small. The college should provide proper seats in the classes. There are a lot of network issues on the campus, so even if we had wifi, they weren't accessible in many places. The washrooms need to have handwash and proper cleanliness.
For Eng Hons, you can never go wrong with the college. The faculty members are highly qualified and bring experience and expertise to the classroom. They are like friends who are ready to guide us in not only academics but also in life. There's an extremely rude professor. I won't like to name her but she needs to get away with her arrogance and superiority complex before it's too late!
The placement cell is active and student-centric. Regular updates are sent on Whatsapp. The process is seamless. I got a job opportunity because of the placement cell at my college, too. There are other placement drives happening frequently as well.
The college infrastructure is pretty good and aesthetic. The labs and libraries have all the necessities. The food and hygiene will be a 3 star for me. There are no wifi facilities as such but there smart boards.
Im studying bcom. The teachers are willing to help when needed and are humble to us. The curriculum is up to date as I feel. It does include all the recent developments and teachers also keep us updated with the data.
Placement driver occur frequently in my college and it is surely really good. Many messages are circulated in the whatsapp groups regularly and students do get good placements as well. Overall its a nice opportunity.
I believe it is really worth it because the it is hard to find such great facilities and opportunities at such price. One gets to enjoy so many events that can be cherished for lifetime. Being a part such price is incredible.
Campus life is ragging free and really good. It feels Like 2nd home. There are fests held regularly which keeps the vibe up. There are societies of which we can be a part of and they give great work experience.
Overall the college is nice and I feel happy to be a part of Gargi College .
The overall infrastructure is good like the auditorium, seminar hall, gardens and ground. Classrooms are very old but clean, also there are not enough rooms according to the batch. The campus is overall clean.
Each semester the core subjects are a good balance of theory as well as practical papers. The professors are highly knowledgeable but more practical and real life component can enhance the curriculum.
I would be sitting in placements in the upcoming semester. I hope for the best as the the previous records have been good. Moreover, placement cell also provides information about number of internship throughout the year.
Campus is very cheerful and lively. You can see an event happening literally every day. Cultural festivals, seminars, workshops, competitions, etc. are an ongoing part of the college campus.
Gargi's Infrastructure is very good.It is providing us all the basic facilities keeping in mind the hygiene and sanitation. Clean water, floor, food are provided. Classrooms are having accurate no. Of fans and lights.
All courses and study material provided are very beneficial. The curriculum is updated. Sessions and different activities have been conducted to make us job ready. All teachers provide us great knowledge.
Gargi provides us large number of placements in top companies like kpmg, ey, delloite, zomato, bank of America. Pre placement sessions are also provided for making sure that students are having all the knowledge about the company
I think it can be a 4/5 in terms of infrastructure , everything is fine . In terms of cleanliness the college needs to be rated 1000 out of 10 its so good . Infra. At class labs canteen projectors boards everything is good .
Teachers of gargi college are really concerned abt their students , at least for the science department i am sure ,they give genuine advice , help us to make notes , solves exercise question , they also share pyqs before exams . Almost all teachers are friendly enough to make college vibe good.
Placement of gargi college is good . 3 of my seniors i know got recently placed in deloitte and one other is in bank of america their overall experience said college placement cell is really supportive and provide with good companies giving worthy salary . Commerce students are most benefited followed by science and arts respectively.
Our course is mathematics honours BSc. It charges 15000 annually. With other charges such as exam form fees and practical exam fees . And i think the degree and quality of education with a secure environment we get is definitely worth in this price .
The infrastructure good like the old typical du colleges but the rooms are quite less in numbers comparison to students and is non Ac so it's quite hot during summers. Also the fans and lights are years old so it requires to change I feel.
Im doing bcom and definitely the teachers overe here are awesome and determined in completing their syllabus and imparting us with knowledge. They are very educated and smart. And the subjects are designed in such a way that it is imparting skills too.like the skill enhancement course and value added course.
The quality is great as far as I have known from my seniors tge highest ctc this year was 23 lpa and average is 5lpa which I think is decent the process is made easy by the placement cell of gargi college since year starts with orientation and they guide us throughout the placement year.
15000 per year and an average package of 5 lpa is definitely a value for money deal. Being a central government college and the amount of less fees is a boon for middle class and lower middle class so I think it provides opportunities to all to study in delhi.
Since it's a women's college and only 1 clg is nearby which is kamla nehru so I think the campus life is not that great it's average but te boon is the location it's quite peaceful and in the heart of South delhi.
It's good and diffrent experience as a girl coming from coed school it was diffrent in the starting but obviously now I can say is its diffrent and definitely worth joining since it's one of the top colleges of DU
Gargi college have all the necessary infrastructure, good sitting arrangements better computer labs a big library etc college doesn’t have any hostels Facilities provided are good a big sports ground and training facilities
I am studying b.com from Gargi college it’s a basic course provided for commerce students but in our college there are alot of extra curriculum activities which provide experience to the students and when we talk about teaching quality Our college have mostly professors who are phd holders
Gargi college does have good quality of placement every year all the 4 big firms i.e. Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PwC provides placements for gargi students. If we compare Gargi college with otter colleges of DU then Gargi does get good no.of placements.
Gargi College is a government college fee for the college is minimal and the institution provides quality education so it is outstanding and off course gives a good value for money
College campus is good one can use library , labs a green campus an auditorium where every day a new speaker or artist come. Students can be a part of any society Gargi College have more than 12 societies and more than six performing societies and there’s a sports department in which students can register for different sports activities according to their interests
Infrastructure of Gargi college is really good. Red Brick walls , beautiful auditorium, well maintained sports ground. I just felt that classrooms needed to be more maintained in terms of projector and other equipments.
Absolutely amazing professors. My three years were pretty easy because of them . Academically ,Gargi is highly recommended from my side. My course was History hons and I gained depth of knowledge which has helped me in further learning as well.
Placement sector is average . Although students from commerce background do get placed if they try well , other batches students find it difficult to get. However, there is placement cell who tries their best .
My one year fees was just 16000. So , I think economically the college is pretty well . They consider your background easily . You will find pgs and hostels easily around the campus . Food is also cheap and worth the money .
Gargi college is famous for its campus life . Their events like “Zistatva” invites a lot of students from other colleges as well . Apart from events , college has well established curriculum which allows students to make the best out of it.
The infrastructure is good, as the building is quite new. there is a big auditorium where multiple activities take place. apart from that, there is a big cricket ground. i think one of the standout of Gargi was its students, faculty and staff work together. the college library is a bit small though. Gargi is also famous for its nescafe where all the girls hangout together
During my time in the B.Com. program, I had excellent interactions with the faculty. the quality of teaching was very high and the curriculum was up-to-date. There were plenty of options available for students who wished to enroll in additional language classes.
A placement team is in place to work exclusively on student placements. big companies like KPMG, EY comes for placements and hire students they have a strong ties with the industry experts and a good alumni support.
Indeed, my fees for all three years totaled about RS40,000. However, the excellent experience I received more than made up for the cost.
the college campus has one of the best infrastructures in Delhi. it is south Delhi, and area around the campus is very safe and secure
Yes the infrastructure of the college is good and attractive as well The facilities are also good like we have wifi access in every department building and also the water coolers for the same. Almost every class has projector facilities and the class room are also good including labs, lecture theaters, College provides placement cells as well in many courses
I am doing my graduation in B.A programme. The teacher are also good and cooperative (the permanent one mostly) We also have good numbers of teachers in our college including assistant and permanent But our department need more focus and facilities because in comparison with honors students we have not that much attention and facilities we feel like neglected in some cases
Placement facilities are are good but not for my department I am doing my graduation in b.a programme and the placement for our department is not much in comparison than other departments. (so I don't have much information about the same) But the Economic department has the best placement facilities
According to me the fees was okk for my graduation course in my 1st year According to the ranking of the college But after that, at the time of 2nd year fees submissions the administration increased the amount of the fees so that was not much appreciable and the same thing happened in our final year as well
If I rate my college life on the scale 1 out of 10 than it was 10/10. It was my best decision to choose this college and get the chance to study for the same this college gave me so much memories and some precious people whom I'm never gonna forget. My college life was full of ups and down but it ended with good memories.
The college was all over good and the ratings are also good. If any girl (like me introvert) want do become confident enough to talk freely express herself more independently than I'll definitely gonna suggest this college
Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College, New Delhi, will be the best option among the Gargi, ARSD, and Khalsa College if the distance is not the parameter.
SGTB Khalsa College is the oldest college with the best infrastructure and phenomenal teaching faculty. Every facility is available in this college.
For Maths Hons, I suggest you prefer SGTB Khalsa over other colleges; else, ARSD is not a bad option.
