Bachelor of Arts (B.A) in English Hons is a full-time three-year undergraduate degree course offered by the University of Delhi, Delhi.

English (Honours) is an impactful undergraduate course that takes students through the best in world literature. The syllabus is rigorous in its coverage of important literary texts and landmarks and thus stands students in good stead in their future professional endeavors. Papers range from Indian and Western classical traditions to lively and immediate contemporary authors; students will read widely in different
genres including poetry, plays, novels, besides acquiring critical thinking skills that will enable and empower them academically and personally.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate must have passed Class XII or its equivalent from a single recognized board.
A candidate applying to CSAS-2023 must have appeared in CUET(UG) - 2023, conducted by NTA.
Candidate must have appeared in CUET(UG) - 2023 in only those subjects in which she has passed Class XII.
The candidate is advised to check whether she satisfies all eligibility criteria for the Program(s) for which she is applying and has appeared in CUET(UG) - 2023 in the relevant subject/Test papers fulfilling the Program - Specific eligibility published in the UGBOI-2023.
If a candidate has applied in CSAS-2023 but doesn't fulfil the eligibility criteria of any Program offered by UoD, his/her candidature will not be considered.

Admission Details

Admission to all UG Programs of UoD for the Academic Session 2023-24 will be through CSAS-2023, based on the eligibility requirements stated in UG BOI-2023 and other rules as published by the University of Delhi on its website.

College Infrastructure

infrastructure of the college is so good. College provide all the facilities for the students and the all the equiments required for the students . Mess and hostel facilities are available for the student .

College Infrastructure

Comparing to other DU colleges Gargi College has a wonderful infrastructure specially for psychology department AC and fully furnished classroom , amazing sports facilities too. There are beautiful gardens across the college. College have its own AC auditorium which all du college do not have. All in all it is a wonderful college.

College Infrastructure

Red walled college gives everyone the comfort of a second home. Their classrooms are big and have a lot of space. The canteen is very famous and don't forget the Nescafe. The auditorium and library are amazing too.
