You have not mentioned the course you are interested in Indira Gandhi Medical College, Shimla. For MBS candidates have to apply and appear for NEET UG exam conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates with required NEET percentile will have to register for AIQ NEET counselling. Then you have to participate in the counselling process conducted by The Directorate General of Health Sciences (DGHS) on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). If we look at previous year trends, to get admission IGMC Shimla you need to have ranks between 1198-2005 for general category. While if we look at NEET PG you need to score around 500-1300 rank for getting MD general medicine. And subsequently higher ranks can get other MD courses.
