College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of IGMC may be old but it is still functional and well maintained. The hospital is large with all necessary departments, labs, and wards. Hostels are decent, with adequate facilities for students. The location in Shimla adds a unique charm to the campus environment.

Better facilities required.

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure looks quite old and poorly maintained. Hostels lack proper facilities, with frequent complaints about water supply and hygiene. The classrooms and labs also feel outdated, making the overall environment less comfortable for students.

Academics are good but rest need improvement.

College Infrastructure

The college buildings are quite old and not properly maintained. Many facilities feel outdated, and the hostels often face issues like water shortage and poor cleanliness. Benches are broken and washroom are not adequate.

You have not mentioned the course you are interested in Indira Gandhi Medical College, Shimla. For MBS candidates have to apply and appear for NEET UG exam conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates with required NEET percentile will have to register for AIQ NEET counselling. Then you have to participate in the counselling process conducted by The Directorate General of Health Sciences (DGHS) on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). how many marks and rank should I get to get a seat in IGMC Shimla

Hello Aspirant,

If we look at previous year trends, to get admission IGMC Shimla you need to have ranks between 1198-2005 for general category. While if we look at NEET PG you need to score around 500-1300 rank for getting MD general medicine. And subsequently higher ranks can get other MD courses.
