This is the most exhilarating experience of my life

    College Infrastructure

The college has all the necessary infrastructure and equipment, spacious auditorium, well lit classes, extensive library etc. Although the lack of a college campus is evident, but that can be attributed to the rough terrain of the city itself. The college has an indoor badminton court but a sports center is absent. The boys hostel has a gym though

    Academics

I am pursuing mbbs for the college because it was a dream of mine. The quality of teaching is amazing, the teachers are dedicated. The curriculum is up-to-date with all the recent developments in the medicine field. There are various conferences discussing the recent developments of latest techniques and principles of care

    Placements

There is no placement culture in medical colleges. There is ready job placement in the govt sector. Private sector hospitals are not supposed to come to medical colleges for seeking employees, the students are supposed to apply themselves

    Value for Money

My course costs around 50000 per year with additional 24000 as hostel fees. This is at par with other government medical colleges . It is totally worth my money as the study of medicine from private sector colleges is extremely expensive

    Campus Life

The campus life is amazing. There is a yearly national fest by the name of stimulus which provides a much needed break from the hustle of the degree. Students are friendly and so are the teachers . It is located just at the heart of shimla in the iconic lakkar bazaar. You can always head to the ridge after college ends in the evening.

how many marks and rank should I get to get a seat in IGMC Shimla

    Hello Aspirant,

If we look at previous year trends, to get admission IGMC Shimla you need to have ranks between 1198-2005 for general category. While if we look at NEET PG you need to score around  500-1300 rank for getting MD  general medicine. And subsequently higher ranks can get other MD courses.
