The CAT 2025 exam for admission to the IPE Hyderabad MBA programme is scheduled for November 30, 2025.
Colleges that offer free seats or fee reimbursement based on IPE (Intermediate Public Examination) marks generally follow the state counselling calendar, not a single national entrance timeline. In most states such as Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, applications for these seats usually begin after the declaration of Intermediate results, which typically happens between April and May each year. The counselling and seat allotment process is conducted through state-level admission portals like TS EAMCET counselling, AP EAPCET counselling, or degree admission portals such as DOST (Telangana) and OAMDC (Andhra Pradesh).
Once the notification is released, candidates must first register online, upload documents, and then participate in web-based counselling where seats are allotted based on IPE marks, reservation category, income criteria, and local area status. Free seats are usually linked to government quota seats along with fee reimbursement or scholarship schemes provided by the state government. Therefore, students should regularly check the state higher education council website and local newspapers from April onwards to avoid missing deadlines.
Hello aspirant,
You cannot rely only on NEET preparation to clear TS EAPCET . NEET covers Physics and Chemistry deeply but TS EAPCET also includes Intermediate IPE syllabus strictly , with questions directly based on textbooks concepts and formulas. Biology is needed for NEET , while EAPCET needs strong Maths for engineering streams. If you plan to attempt both , prepare NEET concepts thoroughly and separately revise IPE-LEVEL Maths, Physics, Chemistry for EAPCET , along with previous year papers.

Hello,
To address your concern, usually the regular intermediate in Telangana or Andhra comes with certain limitations, such as if a student fails in a subject in the 11th standard, they are not allowed to further write the 1st and 2nd year exams together at once.
The only possibility is that the candidate shall clear the failed subject through reappearance and can move on to the second year before the 2nd academic year starts.
This way, the IPE Board considers the candidates who cleared the subjects without any backlogs, and they can be promoted to the second year.
The plus is that the candidate doesn't have to repeat the entire year, while they can reappear and clear before the next academic year commences. But it's mandatory to clear those exams.
Hope it helps with your query.
