As a student, I find the infrastructure is good. It has everything we really need. Our classrooms are smart classrooms with projectors and good seating. The best part is we get full access to the amazing NALSAR main library , which is huge and has every book student could need. The hostels are simple but livable , and the WiFi is reliable all over campus. The college has excellent green tress surrounded , good roads to go for walk and have different play grounds to play and have good physical health , Medical centre facility is also available. The mess food is a bit okayish but they provide food based on nutritionist suggestions.

The academics in Nalsar are challenging and really make us think. The faculty here are good with phd degrees and most of them are not just teachers but experts in their fields, especially where business and law meet. They are always approachable for doubts. The curriculum is rigorous and focuses a lot on conceptual studies. However , sometimes the course load can feel a bit heavy on theory, and U wish there were more practical , hands- on projects or workshops from industry people.

The placement scene here is a mixed bag but shows clear promise. It’s true that the placements are not as strong or diverse as those at the top IIMs, and the number of companies visiting is still growing. However, it’s important to know that they are genuinely developing year on year. Just don’t come in expecting a flood of FMCG or finance giants.

When I look at the total cost of my course, which is around 420000 for the one year program, and weigh it against what I am getting, I feel as a neutral stand. The quality of the faculty and the academic environment is very high for the price. However, the trade-off is that the campus life and infrastructure are more functional than luxurious , and, the placements , while improving , are not as guaranteed as they are at institutes that cost twice as much. Not great investment but not bad too.

Campus life at DOMS is very vibrant and revolves around all factors of student life. The campus itself is peaceful and green, which is great for focusing on studies. However, if you’re looking for a vibrant social scene with lots of events and parties , you might find it more close to you. There are many student clubs or activities for the management students. Winnow- the annual management fest is the largest fest in Nalsar.

Life at Nalsar is a journey mixed emotions. You may come across the life and its teachings, that everyone should experience in their life.
