DoMS Nalsar Hyderabad IPM Admission Procedure 2026-2031

• To be eligible for admission, candidates must complete their 12th class with 60% aggregate marks. For candidates belonging to the reserved categories, the aggregate marks are 50%. Students should have a valid NMET (UG)/IPMAT (IIM Indore) score card.

• To be eligible for admission under the Resident Student of Telangana category seats, in addition to complying with the eligibility as mentioned above, candidates must secure appropriate rank in order of merit in NMET(UG)/ IPMAT(IIM, Indore) and studied in the State of Telangana for four consecutive years appears for the qualifying examination in the same State (or) person who has in the previous seven years, resided in the State ofTelangana for at least a period of four years, and completed the qualifying examination, i.e., 10+2 or equivalent from the educational institutions in the State of Telangana.

• The marks obtained in the entrance tests will be converted into a percentage, and based on merit at the test, the candidates will be shortlisted for a personal interview. If a candidate appears for more than one test, the best of the two scores will be considered by the University.

• The admission will be based on marks obtained in the entrance examination and personal interview performance. 75% weightage will be given to entrance examinations, and the remaining 25% will be based on performance in the personal interview.

The approximate duration to complete the course is 4 to 7 years. The first year will be spent on coursework, and the remaining years will be spent getting a doctoral degree. • Admission to the PhD course is based on the written test conducted by NALSAR University of Law.

• Candidates who have cleared UGC NET/JRF/SLET/M.Phil is exempt from taking the test.

• All the candidates should submit a 1000-word research proposal describing why the problem of research of worthy of research.

• The proposals will be screened for plagiarism. If the plagiarism exceeds 15% the candidates will not be called for the interview.

• Candidates who have cleared the admission test but were either not called for the interview or failed the interview shall be given two more opportunities to resubmit their proposal without needing to reappear in the Admission Test.
