About Jindal School of Art and Architecture, Sonipat
Established in the year 2018, Jindal School of Art and Architecture, JSAA, was established under the aegis of O.P. Jindal Global University at Sonipat, Haryana. The fledgling institution has rapidly made its presence felt within the Architecture and Design education sector. The JSAA is Council of Architecture-approved, hence offering under its roof a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs such as B.Arch, B.Des in Immersive Digital Environments, B.Des in Interior Design, and Ph.D. in Architecture. The school has a total strength of 29 faculty members to ensure that due attention for the needs of every child is given and personalized learning is accommodated. The JSAA commitment to excellence thus finds reflection in the modernity of its approach towards architectural education, fusing traditional knowledge with state-of-the-art practices.
The Jindal School of Art and Architecture is a fully equipped campus with all the state-of-the-art facilities for supporting students in their academic pursuits. It is a resourceful center of libraries that stock all manner of books and journals on architecture and design, including digital materials. At the same breath, the school has advanced IT infrastructure for practice studies, with a guarantee of the most current software and technologies in use. Of importance, there are sports facilities and a well-equipped gym for one to work out his or her body on campus. It also maintains a health center with first-aid facilities, thus keeping the health and safety of the students as one of its concerns. In line with community building and networking, JSAA boasts of an active alumni association, which links current students to graduates who make it big in the professional world.
A total of four courses are offered in JSAA: three undergraduate programs and one doctoral program. The flagship course in B.Arch has an approved intake of 40 seats. Other courses include B.Des in Immersive Digital Environments and Interior Design, and Ph.D. in Architecture. All the undergraduate programs involve full-time study and hands-on experience in respective professional fields. Since the B.Arch course is a five-year course and all B.Des courses are four-year courses, it allows students to study in-depth about the particular subjects and apply the concepts in practicality.

A Good College for B.Arch
College Infrastructure
Honestly, I am quite amazed by the infrastructure that JSDA has to offer. The architecture studios are huge, well-lit, and remain open 24*7 during final submissions and assessments. At JSDA, we have a proper construction yard, a fabrication lab, a geotech lab, a surveying lab, and a VR/immersive design lab with HTC VIVE and Oculus setups. High-end workstations, 3D printers are also available in the digital centre. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled and has access to more than 48,000 books in the library. Overall, good facilities with a nice environment.
