Eligibility Criteria 

BEd (Bachelor of Education)

Candidate should be an Indian National and must have a minimum of 50% in the bachelor's degree/ master's degree in sciences/ social science/ humanity/ commerce subjects. 

Candidates having bachelor's in engineering/ technology with a specialisation in science/ mathematics/ pharmacy/ law/ management/ fine arts/ performing arts must have a minimum of 55% 

and

A valid score in PERA-CET/ MHT-CET/ CUET 

and

Somaiya Personal Interview

MEd (Master of Education)

BEd / BA-BEd/ BSc-BEd/ BEl.Ed - Minimum 50% marks
and

Valid score in PERA-CET MEd/ MEd MHT-CET/ MEd CUET

Masters of Arts in Educational Management & Leadership

BEd/ BA in Education or bachelor’s/ master’s degree in any other discipline - Minimum 50% marks
and

PGDEM/ PGDEL with minimum 50% marks are eligible to take admission in the 2nd year of the MAEML programme within three years of completing any of the said diploma programmes

Post-Graduate Diploma in Educational Management

BEd/ BA in Education - Minimum 50% Marks

OR

Graduate degree/ postgraduate degree - Minimum 50% marks 

Diploma in elementary education (DElEd) - Minimum 50% marks with a minimum of two years of teaching experience) 

Post-Graduate Diploma in Educational Leadership

PhD Education

Masterʼs degree - Minimum 55% aggregate marks or equivalent 

Bachelor’s degree (BTech/ BE/ BPharma/ MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS/ BHMS/ BSc (Honors)/ Pharm D/ Pharm D (Post Baccalaureate) - Minimum 75% marks 

A valid score in the doctoral programme entrance test of the Somaiya Vidyavihar University/ CSIR - NET-JRF/ GATE / GMAT/ GPAT/ ICMR -JRF/ DBT-JRF (BET)/ INSPIRE/ Prime Minister’s Fellowships and those qualified in any of the UGC recognised national or state level eligibility tests
