Hello
Nift has relative grading system. It is basically depend upon the entire class and not the standard grading system.
Your grade point is 7.0 means your grade is B-
There is total 9 grade i.e A,A-,B,B-....
This depends upon the person having highest and person having lowest marks in the exam .
Suppose out of 100 and student having highest 6p marks and a student having lowest 50 marks then the highest one get A garde and accordingly grade were allotted to the entir class.
Feel free to ask
Good Luck..
Hello Arham !
You need a good CGPA to qualify for the semester exchange program. As the seats are limited the students with the highest CGPA are selected.
For FIT, you will need to make a portfolio as well.
You can check the official college website for more information.
All the best !
Hi,
As per the NIFT policy, this opens new opportunities for selected meritorious students from NIFT, which allows them to do a Dual degree programme both from NIFT and FIT.
Students undergoing dual degree programme undertake two years study at their home institute i.e. at NIFT and complete their one year at FIT.
Regards

Hey dear, NIFT is open for students of 10+2, from all the possible streams like science, commerce, humanities. You just need to pass your 12th with a decent score like 60% with any stream and you can give NIFT exam for faishon designing . So, there are no worries if you are a science student, you can go for faishon designing too.

NIFT Delhi boasts a modern and well-equipped campus that provides a conducive environment for creativity and learning. The infrastructure is designed to meet the needs of aspiring fashion professionals, with state-of-the-art facilities that cater to every aspect of design education. The campus houses spacious classrooms, design studios, and well-stocked libraries. The design studios, in particular, are equipped with the latest technology, sewing machines, and pattern-making tools, which are essential for hands-on learning. The fabric library is extensive, giving students access to a wide variety of materials to experiment with. The campus also features well-maintained hostels, canteens, and recreational areas, ensuring that students can maintain a balance between academic and personal life. The campus is located in the heart of Delhi, which further adds to its appeal, offering students easy access to major fashion events, exhibitions, and industry hubs. The campus's aesthetics are modern and professional, fostering an atmosphere that promotes creativity and innovation. However, with its heavy focus on practical work, there could be an increased emphasis on upgrading and expanding certain areas, especially as the institution continues to grow. Overall, the infrastructure at NIFT Delhi supports the learning needs of students and helps them prepare for the competitive world of fashion.
The college infrastructure is great. The library is really good and has air conditioning. the college doesnt have sports centre or hostel. the canteen served food is fine. but there is not much cleanliness in the canteen. overall the college is fine except some issues.
Overall infrastructure is good, has a library, a resource center. One can get a good resource that is not available outside the campus, for examples books and magazines that are not available outside at any bookstore
