This scheme will cover all eligible students provided their numbers are within

25% of the overall student strength of all the NIFT Centres as a collective.

Upto `. 1.0 Lakhs : 75% fees waived

Above ` 1.0 Lakhs to ` 2.5 Lakhs :- 50%

Above ` 2.5 Lakhs to ` 4.0 Lakhs:- 25% fees waived.

Yes, you are right. NIFT provides financial support on merit by providing some documents like Income certificate and all.

On the Income Certificate basis your fees will be decided.

There is nothing like Scholarship but a financial Support provided on the basis of the income certificate provided from your side.

Every year, NIFT Development Fund provides for subsidized tuition fee under the NIFT Means-Cum-Merit Financial Assistance Scheme  However, the ceiling of subsidy is variable.

NIFT provides scholarship for the student in three sections.

1) Nift provides financial assistance under NIFT on merit scheme. In this scheme upto 75% fees of ug student and up to 59% tution fees for Pg student will be wiaved on the basis of merit and family annual income.

2) Scholarship for fresher and renewable student like sc/st/bc/disabled.

3) UDAAN merit scheme id for foreign studies.

Thank you for your Query. According to the NIFT Delhi website their is  Phd course for Fashion designing.  The University has a Phd course on Philosophy. I will put down the details of the Doctor of Philosophy  on Fashion designing course details.

Eligibility: Masters in Fashion designing from a recognized University

The fee for NIFT per year for the courses like B.Design starts above 2.5 lakhs per year and the course duration is 4 years

There is only a slightifference between in the fees of NIFT at various locations

There are some tips for you , these may help you to crack NIFT exam  and these will help you to initiate your preparation along with your class 12.

• Analyse the complete syllabus of NIFT exam.
• give your small time for the preparation of NIFT .
• make a time table and take it into your routine to study atleast some part of syllabus for NIFT exam.
• along with your studies don't forget to give your some time to your favourite sport so that you could be refreshed.
• analyse yourself on weekly basis by taking some revision test.
• Don't forget to solve previous year question papers.
