School of open learning allot various colleges of University of Delhi. The colleges have good garden and it looks very beautiful. The classrooms are neat and clean and well maintained. Colleges have also hostel facilities.
In my first year I got 2 hours live classes all team app. School of open learning also give Sunday classes in the satyakam bhavan. Teachers are qualified and PhD holder they provide good guidance and curriculum related study.
School of open learning provide placement for the graduated and post graduated students in the job Mela and placement drive organised by the University. College is also supportive for the students to get placement.
I am doing MBA here and the fees is not very high. Course cost around 50000 for a year. School of open learning also provide updated book material in the specified home address by speed post. I feel the course is money's worth here.
As well do not organisation any fresh up party and fest and there is no cultural activities here. Student do not get any opportunity to get engage in any such curriculum activities. There is no NCC and NSS here
College are very nice and brilliant as there is canteen which provide affordable food and with various varieties . Classroom Are neat and clean with fully airy with AC . Garden is beautiful With rose plants .
Academics is upto the MBA requirements. The teacher staff is very calm and cooperative. They guide and understand the student need and console them as and when required. There is nothing like strictness From teacher side.
Colleges providing placement drive. I am not working so school of Open Learning is also providing me eight weeks of intern ship as it is mandatory in MBA program. there is required to submit the report so I will be able to do this with the help of sol.
College is not very expensive. It is affordable for me. college provide me books material and it post it on my home address via speed past. they also provide online classes and live recording as and when requires.
There is no campus life and SOL administrative staff do not support in funding the cultural and extra curriculum activity for the students. There are so many colleges under Delhi University which are located on different location student can select their near location College.
College infrastructure is good. All separate college for girls and boys available. There is liberary in the School of Open learning. So many colleges of Delhi University come under School of Open learning.
There is no need to attend classes regularly. I went to college at the time of examination. I was studying for CA, So it was not difficult fir me to clear the exams as i studied lot of in my CA program.
School of open learning provide placement to the students as my friend got placement in ICICI bank. Actually they conduct Job Mela for students and the placement process is smooth for the students as the college are supportive.
SOL come under Government. I did my B. Com under Rs 5000 with all the facilities. There was no extra cost involve. I happily did it. SOL provide book material and they also provide free liberary to the students.
I did not go to college regularly as School of open learning did not organise any refreshment and get together activities. There was no friend in SOL. The teachers and supporting staff was also not supportive.
Good if you are also doing anything else
B.Com (P) from School of Open learning, Delhi University is an open course. Still, study material we got was enough for us to study ourselves and give the exams with utmost confidence. The exam center were clean and well equipped.
The study material we got from the University was easy to understand and with proper amount of information. The curriculum was properly updated as per. The latest curriculum at that time. Yes, it provided us with enough knowledge.
As, B.Com (P) from School of Open learning, Delhi University is an open degree, Placements were not offered at that time but it still made us capable enough to work under different areas and adapt to that.
I found college infrastructure well maintained. As the college building are so old but Delhi University has maintained its colleges very well. When I cam for giving SOL MBA Exam I found classroom neat and clean .
This is the best advantage of getting education from there as they provide their study material which is very well sufficient to pass the exam. I'm working and can not study long hours, So studying with books and Important topics is sufficient for me.
I am not expecting very high placement for the MBA students here as I think they are not sponsoring good companies. SOL has not provided much information related to placement as this MBA batch is new in SOL.
I will be completing my MBA by 2024 with in Rs 120000( including examination fees) . The course is money worth as College provide Lecture on Sunday and live classes and live meeting with experts for getting better understanding.
There is no campus life in School of learning as we only study here and will get degree after completion of the course. SOL do not organise seminar, fest, and parties for enjoyment of the students. The administration do not officially organise it .
The infrastructure is okayish. As this is an open learning institution so the classes conduct in different campuses sometimes its good sometimes its not. The main office is average as the building and other stuff is old.
I have studied BA English Hons. there. The quality of teaching is so bad. They just give you books and no classes, no explanation of the stuff you have to read. You have to do it on your own. Nothing they will provide
They don't give any placements as it is evident it is an open learning which is distance education so they don't provide any placements. If you have to search jobs on your own they don't provide any sort of help.
The course costed me Rs. 5000 something. I felt I got my money's worth because the degree which came it was of Delhi University only which is the exact regular going children degree. The fees is very affordable and nominal.
There is no such thing as Campus Life in SOL. They don't conduct regular classes they do conduct classes but only on weekends which isn't even compulsory to attend. There is no critetia of 75% compulsory attendance.
I personally believe that the infrastructure of some colleges of Delhi University are not very good specially for the sol student as the regular college do not provide any facility to the sol MBA student like Wi-Fi facility.
Academic is good as school of open learning provide books material to the student home address who are not from Delhi and it also give online classes to the student on team app. Some teachers are supporting as they mark important questions.
School of Open Learning provide placement drive and job Mela to the SOL graduated students. The MBA course is new in SOL the department is working on good placement but it is expected there will be not very high place package placement.
MBA course is distance learning but the facilities SOL is providing is like a regular MBA course as it is conducting regular classes on meeting . There is not compulsory to go to college regularly most of the students are not from Delhi So my fees for this course is money worth
Students enroll here to get a reputitive DU degree. It does not organise any fresher, farewell or any refreshment parties. SOL do not provide any teachers support and staff support for engaging student in curriculum activities.
College infrastructures are very good. College provide facilities to the regular students but if we talk about the SOL student that the college do not provide any Wi-Fi facility the sitting arrangement is not proper in the college canteen.
University is providing book material with the Speed Post to the Non-Delhi student. Books are sufficient to pass exam to there is no previous year paper for the school of open MBA program but by solving FMS previous year paper. Students can get good marks.
As a school of open learning has started this MBA program in 2024 so we cannot confidently stay about the placement but we can predict that there would be placement and they are working on it as they are working and supporting the students with career guidelines.
I am doing by MBA under Rs1,20,000 in which there is the course fees, examination fees travelling fees, and stay fees for 15 days. College do not any hostel facilities to the Non - Delhi students who are coming to give Offline Examinations
When School of Open Learning started the MBA program then they gave orientation of this in the sports complex of University of Delhi, afterward there was no freshers party or no student get together or induction program for the student.
In my opinion the infrastructure of the Delhi University colleges are very nice good with library and canteen facility. School of Open Learning conduct MBA classes in Satyakam bhawan Delhi University.
Teachers are very qualified and supportive like in semester 2 there was a teacher of production and operation management he was very supportive and mark the topics that are very important for the semester 2 examination.
School of Open learning helping MBA students who are not working to get internship in their colleges and departments in various areas such as placement, training, digital marketing ,spreadsheet work, research and development.
I paid 47500 for first year for MBA course plus examination fees of around 2000 rupees for each semesters. In return I got teams app live classes and regular contact with mentors and expert meeting to explore the learning and today's environment.
There is no campus life as school of open learning do not organise any fest and fashion party for the student and there is no get together for the new batch. The MBA course is a correspondence course so there is no problem for the location but there is no annual functions .
Wonderful learning experience! Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very beautiful. The big classrooms, computer labs, big library, and most importantly, the good internet connectivity on the whole campus are made available. There is also a hostel facility available for outside students.
Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University Delhi, formerly Bharat Ratna Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University Delhi and Ambedkar University Delhi, and simply AUD, is a state university established by the Government of the NCT of Delhi through an Act of the Delhi Legislature. The university began functioning in August 2008.
Placements: The COVID-19 pandemic rocked many industries, including academia. Despite many challenges, my college embarked on successful placements after graduation. 60% of the students were successfully placed in my course in companies like Shiksha Lokam, FES, etc.
The University offers full and partial tuition fee-waivers to students who are in need of support given their economic background. Students with an annual family income of less than Rs. 6 Lakhs will be considered for tuition fee-waiver. The gross annual family income ceiling (slab-wise) for availing tuition fee-waiver from the economically backward students (other than SC, ST and PwD), is given below: % of Tuition Fee waiver Gross Annual Family Income Slab -1 100% Tuition Fee waiver Rs 3 Lakh
The hostel facility was available only for girls. Our college buildings were old. The course structure was very high and lengthy. Students had no time to do more extracurricular activities. They participated in very few competitions. Students learn leadership skills and teamwork.
I have no idea about the placements of our college as there are very limited jobs for psychology (hons.) bachelor's students. There are very less chances of getting placed directly. But as I have heard that the students are not offered very high salary packages in our course. I can't say anything about the other courses.
Hello,
Recently, UGC has approved a proposal to allow students to pursue two degree programmes at the same time. One of the degrees has to be in the regular mode and the other either in open and distance learning or online. However, in case you're asking if you can get
yes , you get admission in B com in any university or college
