Apply for Online MBA from UPES
Currently due to covid pandemic. All classes are being conducted in online basis. The admin department of DU SOL North Campus never responds to our querries. Till date we have not received books from the University and they are conducting our paper in June month. Moreover teachers in online class dont listen to our doubts.
I am studying BCOM Correspondence from the University. And side by side I am pursuing with ACCA. I currently live in Chandigarh and teachers in online mode dont take our doubts and till now we have not received books from the University.
Sorry to say but as I am pursuing distant learning so I can't comment on this as I didn't met anybody till now who have get placements in companies. Moreover I am currently more focusing in ACCA. And BCOM as secondary option as ACCA is a process degree.
Due to pandemic my college is still closed but from 28 Feb it will start. Only then after I'll see everything and justify it . I had used their online learning classroom program. They were taught me on Microsoft Team App. App is quit good. Teachers never took attendance. And if I need to ask questions so had to type it and there were around 500-1000 students were taking class at once so it was difficult to get things clear. They provide us both online and printed study materials.
I'm studying bcom and in 2nd year 4th semester. I'm interested in banking field that's why I'm doing this course. They teach good. But in accountancy I faced many problems while teachers explains and solve any practical questions. Yes, the things are updated there teaching speed is fast. They covers the syllabus very fast. Yes, I'll try my best.
Actually I don't know about placement criteria because I'm in 2nd year. And yes somewhere students got good jobs. But not many students. I hope this everything will change soon. And students will satisfy with their everything. They should make any comparison between regular, ncweb and SOL students .Everyone is paying fee. Everyone wants good study.
It's around RS 3500-4500 per year. Not so much satisfied.
I didn't get any opportunity now to do campus activities.
No
The college have good quality desks and blackboards. The classrooms are tidy and hygenic and well sanitized keeping in view the mordern corona problem. The college the have large library with books of all subjects, authors and interests. It also has a central wifi which helps us solve our doubts over internet.
I am persuing Bcom honours and I am feeling very good. The teacers are very competitive and try to give their 100% in teaching. It should be noted that during online conduct of classes too, the teachers were serious and made us work hard and also were lineant towards the students having problem, creating good teacher student relation.
Placement quality is average but it should be kept in mind that placements are also based on the fact that how skilled the person is and only grades are not what that matters. But, keeping other factors aside, the placements are quite good and we can say that well known ventures steps in for placements.
It is definately value for money since the courses for which we need to pay 50000, here we just pay 4000 for the same course and even study material is included in that amount. So having a good degree with competitive skills in small amount is definately a value for money.
It has a great campus with children reading books beneath sun in spare time and cultural activities are always on going which makes students more interested and committed towards college
it is a value for money, very good service, competitve degree
Each department has its own labs and working place. Classroom are well built ,managed, and organised. Medical facilities are available. It has huge playground for the leisure time activity for the students. The canteen offers a variety of tastes of its students.quality of food is average. The wifi does not work so well. Library has a knowledge-based rich collection of reading materials related to the education. the hostels are good and well maintained.
I am doing ba from sol because i want to prepare for govt service together weekend classes are there teacher are very polite and humble and highly qualified the syllabus is based on the new syllabus of delhi university .
As it is open college there is not so much placement are there and for my course there is no placement so don't select dusol for placements go for the main colleges if you want placement like hindu and srcc are best for placement
Yes it is value for your money.
You have to experience north campus life if you go in sol so go for it and enjoy.
yes my college have all the facilities which are required ,classroom looks good, neat and clean ,college campus looks beautiful ,there are lot of open spaces in the campus, canteen and wifi facility is also there.
I am pursuing BA program from school of open learning. Yes the course curriculum is updated, since it is distance mode learning so there is no such facility to go for regular classes, but weekend are conducted.
there is no placement facility for school of open learning students. Here you'll only get degree for your particular course, since I am preparing for government exams so it is very convenient for me to do my graduation from here.
in very minimal fees you can complete your course.
Infrastructure of school of open learning are well equipped and maintened, library, canteen and wifi facilities are provided by the college, all the college's campuses of Delhi university oils neat and clean.
I am pursuing BA from school of open learning,I am a third year student, till now everything is going smoothly, yes everything is updated, weekly classes are conducted, although it is not compulsory interested students can attend the classes.
School of open learning do not provide placement facility,it is the only negative point which I have seen in this college,it is good for those student who want degree along with there job or with any other courses.
Since the college fees is very less.so yes it is value for money.
All the college's of school of open learning have good infrastructure, all the necessary facilities are provided by the management and also every College of Delhi University are located at good places of Delhi.
I am pursuing bcom from school of open learning, yes all the syllabus and study material are up to date.since it is distance mode learning so students have to go to college only for giving examination.
You will not get placement opportunity from school of open learning .I don't think any student from school of open learning have got any placement,it is only suitable for getting a verified course degree.
Very well infracture was maintain in college every facilities is provided big classroom with projectors and library with all latest books and sports games are also provided wifi is also available and clean and hygienic park andclassroom

Placement is not for school of open learning .it was not easy to get placed yes it was supportive for student teacher is also good but placement is good for regular student who achieve higher marks in the college
Fees is very cheap every student can easily affordable.

No
There is a 24x7 Wi-Fi facility all over the campus and hostels. The library is also very good, and it consists of all the required books for the course. Hostels are also very good, and they provide students with all the required facilities.
I m complete my b.com in 2020 from this school of open learning delhi University. Teaching quality was very good . I have a great experience with my all teachers they help me alots in my study as well as career. Yes curriculum is update , no currently I m doing my postgraduate
There was no placement they provide only degree. There was no percentage of students were placed because college only provides degrees there was no placement or internship. No idea about the salary package.
The building was constructed years ago and does not attract the youngsters. It is not that clean and hygienic. The class rooms are spacious but needs to be well maintained. Over all the building is spacious.
It is a good opportunity for the ones who had to drop their studies because of any financial issues or responsibilities or if you are interested to continue your graduation simultaneously with your professional courses.
I have hardly heard of anyone who got placed from the open school. Although they have a placement cell but that never seems to be active and there is no such placement drive inside the school for the interested students. Just vacancies are uploaded online.
Hello,
Recently, UGC has approved a proposal to allow students to pursue two degree programmes at the same time. One of the degrees has to be in the regular mode and the other either in open and distance learning or online. However, in case you're asking if you can get in both the Universities in regular mode then it is not possible.
Also, there are a lot of universities who are not yet accepting the dual degree policy. They may accept it from a year or so as it was released this year. So you should get in contact with the college to know more about it.
I hope this helps,
All the best
yes , you get admission in B com in any university or college
