The VSB College of Engineering Technical Campus was founded in 2000 by V.S.B. The Promise of Education. The college is a co-educational institution that makes money for itself to pay for value-based technical education and to shape students in the needs of the industry. IVSB Engineering College partnered with Anna University and was accredited by AICTE. VSB Engineering College, Coimbatore offers full bachelor degrees such as BE Civil Engineering, BE Computer Science and Engineering, BE Electronics and Communication Engineering, BE Electrical and Electronics Engineering, BE Mechanical Engineering, B.Tech Information Technology, Science and Humanities.

1. Women Empowerment Cell: The goal of this Cell is to enhance the understanding of issues related to women in society. This brings the empowerment and advancement of women.
2. Entrepreneurship Development Cell: This aims to motivate and identify budding entrepreneurs and to assist them in product development.
3. Quality Improvement Cell: This was developed for students to promote self-learning and to learn beyond the syllabus to gain and enhance their knowledge.
4. Placement Cell: The goal of this Cell is to place the students in prospective IT and core companies.
5. NSS Unit: This Unit was started to motivate young students for social servicing and to work for the betterment of society. It has 150 volunteers from different departments.
6. Physical Education: This Unit was started because physical activities are important for the development of an individual. It is necessary for the improvement of physical, social and mental skills.
