Chennai Institute of Technology (CIT Chennai) was established in 2010 and is affiliated to Anna University. The institute has been approved by AICTE and has been accredited by both NAAC and NBA. CIT Chennai has been recognised by UGC. The campus has an area of more than 11 acres. The total student enrollment in Chennai Institute of Technology is around 2516 and the total number of faculty is 225.
Chennai Institute of Technology offers admission in the UG, PG and post PG levels. The UG courses offered by the institute are B.E and B.Tech. Chennai Institute of Technology admissions to the UG courses are based on the marks obtained in class 12th. CIT Chennai scholarships are offered students who are deserving and needful. The institute conducts a scholarship test and the top 25 students of the Chennai Institute of Technology Scholarship Test are given 100% fee waiver. The scholarships which CIT Chennai provides are funded by the Parthasarathy Seeniammal Educational Trust and CIT. Another scholarship which is provided by the institute is based on the marks a student gets in class 12th exam. In this CIT Chennai scholarship there are two categories - State Board and CBSE.
Chennai Institute of Technology scholarship is based on the marks of class 12th. The total amount of the scholarship is given to the student in installments each year. CIT commonly known as chennai Institute of technology which was established in 2010 and is approved by UGC, AICTE, NBA respectively. They have a good infrastructure and have well qualified professors in IT branch as well. As per fee structure they have total fees in around 2 lakh. As per placement side they have an average CTC package in around 4.2LPA and highest CTC package of 22LPA .
So as if you want to persue your IT degree here then you can go for this college.

Ratio for CSE is most likely boys: girls= 1/3 : 2/3. Girls mostly attempt for technical branch or core branch so it have comparatively more girls strength to non-technical branch like chemical engineering, civil, ME, food technology.
