Overview and placements

Batch of 2019 | BE Mechanical Engineering
As i am a mechanical engineering student studying in Chennai institute of Technology. The environment of the college is too good. The college concentrates mainly on the development of students in skills and technologies with their own project ideas and provide support for the development of their idea. A good quality of training in academics too… The college is equipped with industrial labs like design softwares(catia, nx-cad/cam,solidworks) hybrid energy lab, kuka robotics lab,3d printing lab, etc… It's really a good journey for the budding engineers to achieve their dream and being technically trained at their best. It offers placement in core companies and training is given to the students based on the industrial applications. They provide industrial projects while studying your academic year it was helpful in our placement. Lot of facilities provided to get placements in core department. For example I pursuing MECHANICAL engineering and got a job in engineering services company. It's recommended for those engineer who really want to make their profession proud.

An institute which provide a vast knowledge on engineering

Batch of 2018 | BE Mechanical Engineering
I completed my bachelor degree in mechanical engineering from this institution in July 2018. All I wanted in life was to gain more practical knowledge than only theoretical knowledge. I never thought this institution would provide the right platform for me. Right from the first semester of the college the students are permitted to involve themselves in various symposiums and competitions held at various part of the world. I have attended 15 such competitions which include a national level symposium held at NIT Bhopal, a student's all terrain vehicle building competition, a national level students formula 1 vehicle building competiton, and many competitions organized by SAE(society of automotive engineers) and other college symposium. Yearly once more the 20 students visit Autosol held at Germany. The institution grant unlimited onduty for deserving students. As the college chairman is an industrialist, the institution knows the main requirement of a company and they train the students with all the necessary skills. A good industry institute collaboration enables the institution to arrange various industrial visits. The next question would be "It's ok about gaining knowledge. But what about the academic performance of the student?" The students will be allowed to enjoy the whole semester. But 15 days before the semester exams, all the activities would be withheld and the intended university preparation classes(UPC) begins. In these classes the faculties ensure that the students get ready for the university exams. Thus the students get very good results.

Give good training for students from first year. They provide lab and high speed internet facilities for research purpose. Also they provide us placements in third year itself with good salary package. I got placement in TCS under PEGA domain. Pega is only for ECE and CSE students. They provide good placements in core companies also. Provide healthy foods and hygienic hostel. Students can access labs at anytime. CIT gives equal importance to sports also. CIT provide gym for both boys and girls. Has well experienced faculties and they guided us in very good manner.

Scientist dream about doing great things, but engineers do them...yes...CIT is one of the best place where u can develop ur ideas into project and good placements in our college.since I'm an ECE student I feel proud to say that I got placed in core company related to my Dept...not all colleges provide this core opportunity. Our college concentrate more on doing projects. Academics is also concentrated parallely, friendly staffs who guide us in all aspects.so in my point of view CIT is the best college for those who expect good academics , placement. Surely CIT will transform ur life.
