The placement process of CIT Chennai includes registration for participating in the drive, shortlisting the candidates meeting pre-hiring demands stated by the companies, pre-placement talk which is a two-way communication where students get an insight about the company and can interact with the employers, written tests in order to judge the verbal ability, logical, aptitude, reasoning and technical knowledge. Further candidates qualifying written test move to the next round that is the Group Discussion where heir view and opinions are shared collectively and they have to give a voice to their thoughts. Personal Interview is the final round and candidates qualifying the interview are offered jobs and hence fulfilling their dream of getting a job in the company they aspired for.
STEP 1
Registration: Candidates interested in participating in the placement drive have to firstly register with the training and placement cell.
STEP 2
Shortlisting of Registered Candidates: Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the academic qualification as demanded by the recruiters.
STEP 3
Pre Placement: Pre Placement talk is a two-way communication where the recruiters and candidates interact with each other.
STEP 4
Screening tests: Various screening tests will be conducted in order to test the Quantitative aptitude, Logical ability, competency in English, knowledge of their domain and Suitability towards specific skill-sets of the students.
STEP 5
Group Discussion: Students clearing the test will further have to participate in Group Discussion which may be on any topic, it can be a social, political, business-related topic, etc. Candidates have to give a voice heir opinion and present their thoughts in front of the interviewers and showcase their oratory skills.
STEP 6
Interview: Candidates have to qualify the interview taken by the companies. Interviews namely Technical Interview, HR Interview, etc are some of the interviews taken in order to judge the personality of the potential candidate.
STEP 7
Making the Job Offer: If the candidate is successful in qualifying all the tests and interviews conducted by the recruiters, they are offered jobs based on their calibre and potential and hence the selected students are successful in securing their future and getting their dream job.
