Chennai Institute of Technology (CIT Chennai) provides admission to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes. Chennai Institute of Technology UG admissions are offered to BE/BTech courses in multiple disciplines. Chennai Institute of Technology B.Tech admission is done on the basis of candidates’ performance in the higher secondary examinations. CIT Chennai UG Admissions 2024

Chennai Institute of Technology offers admission to UG courses in full-time mode. Chennai Institute of Technology UG admissions are offered to B.E/B.Tech courses in different specialisations which include Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Civil Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security), Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning), Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning), Electronics Engg.  CIT Chennai BE/BTech Admission Process 2024

• First, candidates are required to fulfill the CIT Chennai BE/BTech eligibility criteria. 

• Eligible candidates must submit the TNEA application first, which is administered by the Department of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu. 

• Further, the Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu releases the TNEA cutoff.

• The cutoff is determined by the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in class 12 and a rank list is prepared as a result.  

• Candidates meeting the TNEA cutoff can participate in the TNEA counselling procedure.

• Candidates must get their documents verified and pay the course fees to complete the CIT Chennai admission procedure once the seat has been assigned.

CIT Chennai PG Admissions 2024

Chennai Institute of Technology offers admission to postgraduate courses in full-time mode. The PG courses offered by CIT Chennai are MTech in disciplines including Applied Electronics, CAD/CAM, Computer Science and Engineering, ECE (VLSI Design) and ECE (Advanced Communication Technology). The course duration of the CIT Chennai PG course is two years.

• Candidates must meet the CIT Chennai ME eligibility criteria.

• Eligible candidates must take the TANCET, administered by Anna University.

• Students must go to Anna University's official website to register for TANCET.

• It must be noted that candidates having a valid GATE score need not to appear for TANCET.

• Next, a merit list is prepared and candidates are shortlisted.

• Shortlisted candidates must attend TANCA counselling.

• Candidates must choose CIT Chennai as their preferred college when filling out the TANCA counselling form.

• To complete the Chennai Institute of Technology admission process, candidates must submit all required documents and pay the course fees.
