    PSG Tech Coimbatore Placements

    The placement office at PSG Coimbatore facilitates campus recruitment for national and multinational organisations. Students are the major stakeholders in all placement activities. As per NIRF 2025, 13 UG 3-year students, 821 UG 4-year students, 136 UG 5-year students, 348 PG 2-year students and 135 PG 5-year students were placed during the PSG Coimbatore placements drive 2024. 

    • As per the NIRF 2026 data, the PSG College of Technology median package offered for UG(4 Years) is Rs 7.50 lakhs, and a total of 818 students got placed out of 1039 graduating students. 
    • For PSG Coimbatore PG courses, the median package offered is Rs 9 lakhs, and a total of 369 students got placed out of 467 graduating students.

    The quality of placements in our college is very average. They placed a percentage around 50%. The highest salary package offered is 12 lakhs. Average 5 lakhs salary offered. The placement process is very pleasant for me, and the College doesn't support us.

    Placement is best many companies have tie up with our college, since our students are best, subject wise, interpersonal skills wise be it organizing and much more making us most eligible for job. Around 70-80 get placed every year.

    Not that good for mechanical engineering.

    Placements

    Very poor. Especially mechanical engineering. They say the market was bad during 2020, but not really. Even the senior's average package was 4-4.5 LPA. Even now, after Mechanical everyone have moved to IT.
