IIBF DRA Exam 2025 Important Dates

IIBF conducts the DRA exam in online mode every month. Candidates will be required to pass the examination in three attempts within the period of nine months from the date of completion of training.

Who is eligible for a DRA certificate?

IIBF releases the eligibility criteria for the DRA certificate exam in online mode on the official website. Candidates must check the DRA certificate eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. Check the criteria below.

• Academic Qualification: Applicants must have a minimum qualification of Class 10th or equivalent from a recognised board or above
• Age Criteria: Candidate must have completed 18 years of age on the date of application for training
• Exemption: Retired Bank Officers (age 60 years and above) with wide experience in Recovery may be exempted by concerned banks from the training/ certification for appointment by them at their discretion.

DRA Certificate Exam Training Period

• Candidates who are applying on the basis of Class 10th need to attend the training period of 100 hours.
• Graduate-level candidates are required to complete the DRA certificate exam training of 50 hours.

How to get IIBF DRA Certificate?

To get the DRA certificate, candidates need to apply for the training and pass the examination conducted by IIBF. Check the steps to apply for the IIBF DRA certificate exam below.

How to apply for the DRA Certificate Exam?

• Visit the official website - iibf.org.in
• On the homepage, click on the tab ‘DRA’
• From the drop-down menu, click on ‘ Certificate Examination for DRA’
• A new page will open, navigating to the IIBF DRA exam details
• From the options available, choose ‘Apply Online’
• Choose one of the two options available - Members/Non-members
• On the next page, click on Register for exam
• Submit all the required details and documents
• Pay the application fee

What are the fees of DRA training?

The IIBF DRA certificate exam examination fees and certification fees vary based on the category for each attempt. Candidates can pay the DRA certificate exam fees in online mode using Credit/ Debit card/ Netbanking, EFT, and CSC-SPV.

Note: For each subsequent attempt, candidates are required to register separately. Candidates who failed to pass the DRA examination in three attempts are required to enroll again for the same.

IIBF DRA Certificate Exam Syllabus

• The training for DRA focuses on legal procedure and operational aspects of banking, more particularly the collection function (25-30 hours out of 100 hours training and 15/ 20 hours out of 50 hours training), Soft skill development.
• Personnel effectiveness and Interpersonal behaviour (70-75 hours out of 100 hours training and 30-35 hours out of 50 hours training).

Proof of Identity

Non-members applying IIBF DRA certificate exam are required to attach/ submit a copy of any one of the following documents containing name, photo and signature at the time registration of examination application.

• PAN Card
• Driving License
• Election Voter’s ID Card

• Aadhaar Card

IIBF DRA Certificate Exam Admit Card 2025

Candidates need to collect the admit letter for examination from their respective DRA accredited training agencies, one week before the examination date. It is mandatory to carry a print out of DRA exam admit card along with membership identity card or valid identity card issued by government to the exam centre.

DRA Exam Result 2025

IIBF DRA certificate exam result will be released in online mode on the official website. Candidates can download and check their DRA exam result using login credentials. Consolidated mark sheet for candidates completing examination having more than one subject, will be available on the official website after the declaration of results. Candidates can download the same after entering login credentials using their membership number and edit profile password.

How to Download IIBF DRA Certificate?

Candidates who successfully qualify after appearing in the DRA exam will be able to download their DRA certificate. The DRA certificate download link will be available on the official website - iibf.org.in. Candidates can download the DRA certificate using the membership number or registration number and security code. The security code will be displayed on the screen.

Purpose of IIBF DRA Certificate

DRA certificate training equips candidates with knowledge of banking products, policies, and recovery procedures. With the focused training on developing interpersonal and communication skills, candidates will be able to work effortlessly as debt collectors.

Candidates will be trained on the different aspects, such as legal aspects, soft skills, and behavioural competencies, to enhance professionalism in debt recovery Debt Recovery Agents, Direct Sales Agents (DSAs), Direct Marketing Associates (DMAs), and others are involved in debt recovery.
