IPMAT 2027: Exam Date, Registration, Eligibility, Syllabus, Pattern

IIM Indore will release the IPMAT 2027 registration window on its official site. Candidates can complete their IPMAT 2027 registration within the prescribed deadline on the IIM Indore official website.  

Aspiring candidates are required to first complete the online registration to create login credentials. Now log in again using the created login ID and password, fill in the details, and pay the IPMAT exam fee to complete the application process.

IPMAT 2027 Application Process

Candidates can go through the below steps to know how to fill out the IPMAT exam 2027 application form.

• Candidates must create an account in the IPMAT registration portal by entering details such as name, date of birth, gender, email ID, and phone number.
• Upload the necessary personal and academic documents. 
• Ensure IPMAT 2027 registration with a one-time password (OTP).
• Pay the IPMAT application fee as described in the above table.
• Finally, take a printout of the IPMAT application form for future reference.

• Check the eligibility criteria mentioned on the IPMAT 2027 official website and make sure you meet them before applying. Candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria as set by IIM Indore. Let us have a look at the category-wise educational qualifications and minimum age requirements below:
• General and NC-OBC Category: Candidates who passed Class 10 / SSC and Class 12 / HSC or equivalent examinations with a minimum mark of 60 percent in 2023, 2024, and appearing in 2027 can appear for the IPMAT exam 2027.
• SC/ ST and PWD (DA) Category: Minimum of 55 percent aggregate in Class 10/ SSC and Class 12I/ HSC or equivalent examinations in 2023, 2024 & appearing in 2027.
• Age Limit: For general category candidates, the age limit is a maximum of 20 years of age as of August 1, 2007. SC/ST category candidates should not be more than 25 years old.

IPMAT 2027 exam date is expected to be in the first week of May 2027.  IPMAT is an online test, and the duration of the exam is 120 minutes (2 hours). As per the IPMAT exam pattern 2027, the test paper will have a total of 100 questions divided across two sections, namely Quantitative Ability (Multiple Choice and Short Answer Questions) and Verbal Ability (Multiple Choice Questions). • There is negative marking, which means marks will be deducted for every wrong answer (short answer questions are exempted from negative marking)
• Each correct answer carries 4 marks

• Candidates must carry documents such as the IPMAT 2027 hall ticket and government-issued ID proof.
• Candidates should reach the exam centre half an hour before the IPMAT exam.

IIM Indore admit card will be released in the fourth week of April 2027.  IIM Indore will issue the admit card for IPMAT 2027 to those candidates who complete the application process on or before the last date. The IPMAT exam admit card can be downloaded online from the official website using login credentials. Candidates must bring the IPMAT hall ticket on exam day. The admit cards have details of candidates such as name, photograph, IPMAT exam date 2027, and the venue of the test and exam day guidelines.

How to Download the IPMAT Admit Card

• Go to the official website of IPMAT.
• Find and click the link called "Log in to fill/ edit/ view/ submit/Download Admit Card of IPMAT 2027 application form (For applicants who are already registered)".
• Next, enter the "Application number/ User ID and Password" and click the submit button.
• Finally, your IPMAT 2027 admit card will be downloaded.

IPMAT 2027 Exam Centres

The IPMAT exam 2027 will likely be conducted at 37 centres all over the country. Candidates will be able to pick a centre from the list at the time of filling out the IPMAT 2027 application form. • Click on the IPMAT 2027 answer key link on the homepage.
• Enter the registered email ID and password in the login portal.
• Choose the IPMAT question set and click on the “Submit” tab.
• The IPMAT answer key will be displayed on the screen.
• Finally, download the IPMAT 2027 answer key PDF and calculate the score.

IIM Indore IPMAT 2027 exam is scheduled to be held in the first week of May 2027, tentatively. As per last year's IPMAT exam analysis, the overall difficulty level of the question paper was moderate. The IPMAT exam 2027 will likely consist of 100 questions divided into three sections: QA (SA), QA (MCQs), and Verbal Ability (MCQs). The questions were asked on topics like Analogy, Blood Relations, Algebra, Error Correction, Geometry, Para Jumbles, etc. 

IIM Indore will declare the IPMAT 2027 result online on the official website. The IPMAT 2027 result for PI will likely be out in the last week of May 2027. Candidates can check the IPMAT 2027 result by using their login credentials. The result is available in the form of a scorecard, which includes the overall and sectional scores of test-takers. Candidates who will be shortlisted based on their IPMAT score will be called for further selection rounds of PI.

 How to Check IPMAT Result 2027?

• Visit the official website of IIM Indore and go to the IPMAT section
• Click on the “Results” button
• Enter your IPMAT 2027 application form number
• Enter the registered email ID or Date of Birth in DD/MM/YY format
• Now enter the Security Code/ Password
• Click on the 'Get Status' tab
• IPMAT 2027 provisional shortlist will be displayed. Download it and take two printouts. 

Computation Process of IPMAT result 2027

The  IPMAT cutoff for 2027 will be released by IIM Indore. IPMAT cutoff signifies the minimum marks to be scored by test takers to be able to get shortlisted for the further rounds of selection. The shortlisted students who qualify for the IPMAT 2027 cutoff will be called for a Writing Ability Test and Personal Interview. The IPMAT 2027 selection process comprises a two-step process. The first step requires the aspirants to appear in the IPM Aptitude Test. On the basis of the overall score secured in the IPMAT exam, candidates are shortlisted for the second stage, which involves a personal interview (PI). The final merit list will be based on the scores in both stages. The shortlisted candidates will be offered admission to the Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) offered by IIM Indore and IIM Ranchi.

Also, as per the Government of India regulations or reservation norms, there is a reservation percentage for categories like Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, OBC-NCL, and PwD, which will be considered at the time of admission.
