I hope it helps.
Hello student,
See actually both IGNOU and tiss are very good institute. And masters of social work is worth from IGNOU also. But one thing you should remember that the full social work is completely practical life basis. So you should do it via any regular course. That's why my advice is you should go for the another college.
Dear Aspirant,
Unlike formal education classes, which has seats to be filled; it generally has a stricter admission process. In distance learning the idea is to promote learning to a very wide audience, without age limitations to enhance the knowledge level of the population. Having said that a guideline score of around 50-60 should allow you to join the learning program. It is definitely not as difficult as CAT so if you have prepared well for CAT, then that will suffice.
You need to apply online on their website at https://ntaignou.nic.in .
To review their syllabus and sample question papers so that based on your ability you can map your preparation process, please visit:

Good Luck

Even though it is a distance learning university, IGNOU has well-furnished regional and study centers. Library facilities are specially great – they have a huge collection of academic books, reference books, and journals. There is Wi-Fi in a few of the centers, and a hygienic cafeteria for students who are on campus for extended periods.
My study center is muralidhar college which is pretty decent college. the college staff was very rude ever since i been there for the first time they were very rude even changed some rules related to studies which they were not meant to.
It is an open university so we don't have ani specific building as our college. but the study center where we are elected to was nice. The faculty was nice too. clean classrooms, good professors and staff.
