Hello,
Yes you have to give entrance examination for geting admission in JNU. The entrance examination will be conducted by the university it self, so you must have to prepare for it.
For further information you can visit JNU website.
I hope it helps, Thank you.

Hi,
Jawaharlal Nehru University will release the JNU 2020 eligibility criteria along with the admission notification on March 2 in online mode at nta.jnu.nic.in.
However for the last year the eligibility criteria was -
1) Senior School Certificate (10+2) or equivalent examination with minimum of45% marks. The candidates who are due to appear in Senior School Certificate (10+2) or equivalent examination are eligible to apply.
2) minimum age 17 years.
So as of now we cannot say if you are eligible or not. Wait till jnu declare its eligibility criteria. If you met the required criteria of percentage of marks and age you can take admission to jnu.
Hope this helps.
Hi dear,
You have not mentioned your graduation percentage. If you have scored more than 50 percent in aggregate of all social sciences subject then you are eligible for MA in jnu. You can check details here
Hope it helps.
Hello Aspirant.
Jawaharlal Nehru University(JNU) does not offer B.sc in mathematics. You can't give the exam and expect a bsc course in mathematics. It offers Bachelor in arts(BA) degree through Jawaharlal Nehru entrance examination (JNUEE).
If you want you can pursue bsc in mathematics you can go for other colleges in DU or any other universities.
Best of luck !
Hi,
Jnuee is the entrance exam conducted for admission to various ug, pg and Ph.D courses at jawaharlal Nehru university.
For pg courses a candidate is required to possess bachelor degree. For ug courses a class 12 student can apply if he possess the other eligibility criteria.
However admission in five years dual degree programms ( btech+ Mtech/ms) in jnu are taken through jossa counseling on the basis of marks obtained in jee main. So you can not apply to engineering through JNUEE exam.
Hope this helps.
Hi Pallavi,
To pursue M.A.in economics from JNU you have to appear for JNUEE. The syllabus and books to refer for the same are :
The entrance exam comprises of the two parts: Part A (MCQs) and Part B (short/long question type). The part B will be evaluated if you get shortlisted on the basis of your part A. Then aggregate of both the parts will be considered for final selection. It is better if you refer previous year paper as well. After completing each topic try to solve the questions for that topic from PYQ papers. This will help in revising the topic. Once you complete whole syllabus start attempting the question papers within the duration of JNUEE. This will help you in time management skills.
The labs are well maintained and have good wifi connections. The classrooms are also in good condition and have projectors. The hostel rooms are decent and have average wifi connections. The mess food is good, and there are sports clubs for those who want to participate in physical activities.
The college offers basic facilities, just enough for a simple college life. There is no Wi-Fi connection in the college or hostels. The mess food is decent but not exceptional. The college has good medical facilities, with a hospital located nearby. The sports facilities are in decent condition.
The facilities offered in our college, like Wi-Fi and classrooms, are not up to par. Wi-Fi is not provided with unlimited data per student. Classrooms are small and not well-managed; it feels like we are sitting in a government school. Labs are also not properly managed. The library is good in comparison to everything else.
