Karnataka State Law University Hubli was established in January 2009. It was established under the Government of Karnataka. KSLU Hubli lies with an area of 55 acres of land. The University offers various infrastructural and academic facilities to the students, staff and faculty members. If you belong to to reserved category scheduled caste or Scheduled tribe then you are eligible for admission in Karnataka State Law University. But if you belong to general category then it is not possible for you to take admission. This is because the most basic eligibility criteria (for general category) state that you must have completed your graduation from a recognised University and with at least 45% marks in the aggregate. But if you belong to reserved category the minimum required score is 40% marks in aggregate.

There are many colleges and universities offering LLB course on the basis of different fee structure. The average fees charged ranges between 1 to 3 lakh per annum.
KSLU Hubli offers LL.B, B.A LL.B, B.B.A LL.B, B.A LL.B Hons, B.B.A LL.B Hons, LL.M, LL.D, PG Diploma degree & the admission can be based on 12th board marks or entrance exam. The admission will be on merit basis which means that during the counselling process, the admission will be based on the merit of the students appearing for the counselling process.
For example: If a student gets 95 & you have got 93 then obviously the students who has more marks or more merit gets the seat.
