About Nalanda University

Nalanda University was established in 2010 and is recognised as an "Institute of National Importance". Nalanda University offers postgraduate and doctoral courses including M.Sc, MA Buddhist Studies, Philosophy and Comparative Religions, MA Historical Studies, MBA, PGD and Ph.D programmes.

The School of Buddhist Studies, the School of Philosophy and Comparative Religions, the School of Ecology and Environment Studies, the School of Historical Studies, the School of Language and Literature/Humanities and the School of Management Studies are the five academic divisions of Nalanda University.
