NID Haryana offers admission to the undergraduate programme. For NID Haryana admission to the B.Des programme, candidates have to appear for Design Aptitude Test (DAT). The college conducts DAT in two phases: DAT Prelims and DAT Mains. As per the National Institute of Design Haryana admission process, candidates shortlisted in DAT Prelims are qualified to appear for DAT Mains. In order to qualify the entrance test, candidates have to secure their names on the merit list, released after the declaration of the result of each of the phases. However, the final merit list drawn after DAT Mains is based on the sum total of the weighted scores obtained by the candidates in DAT Prelims and DAT Mains. It must be noted that the final percentile score must meet the minimum qualifying criteria. Candidates further have to register for NID DAT counselling for seat allotment. According to the NID Haryana admission criteria, seats are allotted to the candidates on the basis of merit list, category of the candidates and availability of seats.

I am in textiles and apparel department. The faculty is superb as they are visiting faculties from industry with skill and knowledge.NID was started keeping in mind to improve the rural sector, backbone of the country. Our curriculum is structured keeping that in mind.Internships and graduation projects prepare students to work in industries.
Very good, especially in terms of the faculty and moreover the community, like any other NID. The work quality from all the disciplines is highly appreciable, and the work culture of the college consistently encourages for more.
