About NID Assam

The National Institute of Design Assam was established in the year 2019. It is a government and autonomous institute of National Importance under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt. of India.

NID Assam offers various courses such as B.Des Textile and Apparel Design, B.Des Communication Design, and B.Des Industrial Design. Candidates who want to get admitted to the National Institute of Design Assam courses must appear for the NIT DAT entrance examinations. NID Assam fee structure for B.Des is Rs 9.18 Lakhs. National Institute of Design Assam has a separate placement cell that assists students in getting jobs at top and reputed companies.
