National Institute of Fashion Technology Chennai admissions are offered to 18 diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the field of Fashion Technology and Fashion Management. NIFT Chennai admissions offer Diploma, B.Des and Postgraduate Diploma programmes with various specialisations. NIFT Chennai admission to B.Des programmes is based on the NIFT Entrance Exam. After qualifying the examination candidates have to go through a personal interview round organised by NIFT Chennai.

• Candidates must be eligible for the admissions.

• Merit list will be created on the basis of scores obtained in the qualifying examination.

• Selected candidates have to pay the NIFT Chennai admission fees.

• Final seat allocation will be done after the documents verification.

At undergraduate level NIFT Chennai admissions are offered to 4-year B.Des and BF.Tech programmes. B.Des at NIFT Chennai offers specialisations in Leather Design, Fashion Communication, Textile Design, Accessory Design, Fashion Design, Knitwear Design and Apparel Production.

NIFT Chennai B.Des Admissions - Seat Intake and Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must appear for the NIFT Entrance Exam.

• Qualifying candidates will be called for a personal interview round.

• Merit list will be created on the basis of scores obtained in the NIFT Entrance Exam and performance in the personal interview.

• Selected candidates have to pay the NIFT Chennai admission fees.

• Final seat allocation will be done after the documents verification.

NIFT Chennai admissions at postgraduate level are offered to PGD of 1 to 2-year duration, MFM of 2-year duration and MFT of 2-year duration. PGD at NIFT Chennai offers specialisation in Fashion Innovation and Sustainable Design, Fashion Entrepreneurship, Omnichannel Retail and E-Commerce Management, Fashion and Retail Store Operations, Apparel Production and Merchandising, Indian Craft Appreciation.

• Candidates must be eligible for admissions.

• Selected students will be called for a Written Test and Personal Interview.

• Merit list will be formed on the basis of performance in the written test and personal interview.

• Selected candidates have to pay the NIFT Chennai admission fees.

• Final seat allocation will be done after the documents verification.
