Could be better. Hostels are old. Cleanliness could be improved. People are nice. Staff is decent. They try to do their best but they struggle to accomplish the same. No hot water. Lot of bee hives and I've been bit multiple times. Food is nice.
The course is divided into six trimesters , with three trimesters in each year . The evaluation is based on two components : 50 marks for internal components comprising assignments and presentations , and 50 marks for the end of the semester exam .
The EEE department is located on the western side of the campus which is on the other side of NH 66. We have a 24*7 WiFi facility. But the Wi-Fi in the hostels is a bit lower in speed. There are two libraries including a central library and a digital library which are quite good. There is a canteen inside the campus named the food court. There is also a health care facility next to the ground.
Yes, it is possible to gain admission to the same NITK in a better branch if you score well on JEE Main 2026, even if you have previously been admitted to the same NITK through a lower branch via home state quota. Your past admission does not preclude you from reapplying and securing a better branch if your JEE Main 2026 score is competitive.
