National Institute of Technology Rourkela is a public university established in the year 2002. It is also known as NIT Rourkela. You cannot get NIT, ROURKELA with this much rank. Your rank are too high in sc category, as per previous year reports sc category cutoffs are close around 8k for the lower most branch in spot round selection and if you have CRL 1.6lakh then you have no chances of getting into any NIT. Try other college or take a year drop and prepare well and good. You can also apply for state counseling, but chances for govt seat are much less.

NIT Rourkela campus has an air-conditioned auditorium with a seating capacity of more than 1000. The institute also has a Lecture Gallery Complex with different galleries along with 12 conference rooms and an auditorium with a seating capacity of 300.
