Total campus provides a professional and academic-focused environment. Even though it is located in a busy area of Bangalore, the inside of the campus feels calm and organized. The classrooms are clean, well-lit, and designed for focused learning. Department labs are well maintained and regularly used for practical sessions, mini-projects, and research work. The library is spacious and quiet, offering a wide range of books, journals, and digital learning resources. The college also has auditoriums, seminar halls, sports facilities, and student activity centers.
Faculty are known for their discipline, depth of knowledge, and commitment to teaching. They focus strongly on theory, problem-solving, and exam preparation. Many professors encourage students to take part in research, technical clubs, paper presentations, and national-level competitions. Faculty guidance is especially strong during final-year projects and higher studies preparation like GATE, GRE, and CAT. Interaction with teachers is professional and helpful, especially for students who are serious about academics.
College has an excellent placement record across most departments. Students from CSE, ISE, and ECE receive the highest number of offers, but Mechanical, EEE, and Civil students also get placed in core and service roles. Many well-known companies conduct multiple recruitment drives on campus. The average salary package is around ₹5–7 LPA, and top students receive offers crossing ₹12–20 LPA depending on the role and company. Internship opportunities in the 3rd and 4th years help students gain industry exposure and often convert into full-time jobs.
All Classrooms are spacious with good seating and ventilation, making long lectures manageable. Most departments have well-equipped laboratories where students get proper practical exposure, especially in core branches like Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, and ECE. The central library is one of the best parts of the college, with a huge collection of textbooks, reference materials, journals, and online databases. Students often use the library for exam preparation and project research. The campus also includes sports grounds, indoor games facilities, seminar halls, and food courts.
Maximum professors have been teaching for several years and focus a lot on building strong fundamentals. They follow a structured teaching approach with regular assignments, lab work, and internal assessments. Faculty members guide students during projects, internships, and higher studies preparation. Some teachers are strict about attendance and discipline, but it helps maintain academic quality. Students who regularly attend classes and interact with faculty gain deep conceptual understanding.
In my college Every year, a large number of reputed companies visit the campus for recruitment. Top IT, product-based, consulting, and core companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Deloitte, Capgemini, Amazon, Microsoft, IBM, Bosch, and Qualcomm recruit students. The average package generally ranges between ₹6–8 LPA, while students with strong coding or analytical skills often secure offers above ₹10–15 LPA. Core branch students also get good roles in manufacturing and engineering firms.
Infrastructure and mess food is top-notch. Hostels are good but cost much higher than expected, charging more than 2 lakhs per year. This amount is too high for an average middle-class family, making it unaffordable for many.
More curricular activities are conducted in form of events. Faculty members are good, but some are average. Three tests are conducted per semester. Students must be attentive to everything taught by faculty, otherwise, they need to study on their own
Placements are good, but only for students with high CGPA. Others need to be highly competitive to get placed. This campus is for students who have determination to compete on campus and talent to study independently without depending on faculty. It's ideal for those students.
It's good. They provide food which is very delicious. I love college food very much. Our canteen provides top quality meals. Wi-Fi provided in the college is the best and I love it. Labs are filled with good equipment. They are not damaged. Labs and the library are clean.
Teachers are well-mannered and provide quality education which might be helpful in placement times. Semesters are very difficult to pass. They won't give marks properly, so most students from the BMSCE have low CGPAs. Teachers are very helpful in solving problems.
Around 80% of students got placements. The highest salary package offered is 45 LPA. The average salary package offered is 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Wipro and Amazon. Around 70% of students got internships. Good roles are provided, and I completely believe that I will get a placement here. I am very happy to belong here. My course is CSDS and lecturers here are very good.
The infrastructure at BMSCE is modern and sufficient for academics, with well equipped CSE labs, reliable WIFI and digital classrooms, but first year classes happen in separate building which are not equipped with digital classrooms , the large intake has caused noticeable crowding in labs, lifts and common spaces, which affects smooth movement and lab availability during peak hours. So overall it's average but functional.
Academics at BMSCE are fairly strong, especially in CSE, with a structured syllabus, regular labs, internal assessments, and continuous evaluation that keep students academically engaged. However, large class sizes, uneven teaching quality among faculty, and an exam oriented approach sometimes limit in-depth understanding, flexibility, and meaningful student- faculty interaction.
Placements at BMSCE are moderate, with good participation from IT and service based companies. Core product roles and high packages are limited and highly competitive. Students with strong skills and projects benefit more, while average performers face tougher placement outcomes.
The value for money at BMSCE is moderate. While the college offers a reputed brand, decent academics, and acceptable infrastructure, the high fees and large student intake reduce individual benefits. Outcomes depend heavily an self effort rather than institutional support alone.
Campus life at BMSCE is active and engaging, with frequent technical fests, cultural events, students clubs, and good peer interaction. The diverse crowd creates strong networking opportunities, though limited open spaces and heavy crowding sometimes reduce the overall campus experience.
the college infrastructure is well developed, providing clean facilities, comfortable study space and also modern labs and well stocked library that supports a quality learning experience. there are also sports facilities and open space that encourage student to participate in physical activities and stay active.
i choose CSE course due to my interest in the subject and career growth opportunities. the teaching quality is too good, and the faculty are supportive. Regular tests and assignment and projects help in better understanding of concept.
the placement opportunities in the college are good, with many companies visiting the compus. the placement cell supports student with training, mock interviews and guidence helping us prepare for jobs.
the course fee is reasonable compared to the facilities and quality of education provided. i feel that the college good value for money through quality teaching, infrastructure, and learning opportunities.
The campus life is enjoyable and interactive . there are various clubs, cultural events, and sports activities that help student relax and socialize . the campus is clean and safe , creating a friendly and positive environment.
College is well occupied with all the necessary infrastructure but the campus is not so big and have only one small playground. Each class has around 70 students which sometimes feels more congusted.
I have opted for Computer Science And Engineering as that was the most popular course at that time but for the upcoming students I will recommend to take or do some AIML course. Teaching is excellent but there will be some exceptions.
There are many companies coming for the campus selection some of the top companies are Apple, Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Adobe, etc. But the students who are the best in academics can be eligible for that companies. There is 80% placement rate and an average of 7-10 lakh per annum.
My course cost me around 1 lakhs under government seat but by management it will cost around 50 lakhs for 4 years. I feel joining the is worth and value for money but as i told it depends on student how he/she will perform, because the college has best supporting environment we have make use of it.
Campus life is not that excellent but not that worse too. We have many things to do and participate in such as games events and so on. But to join a particular sports you need to have some pre participation certificate and all. College is very safely located in the heart of the Bengaluru City and have arrangements to handle any situations.
Overall the college is best for the students who are really welling to do something at the same time there are many distractions which one have to avoid. If you are coming from government seats then you can join but I personally feel joining through management is not worth.
BMSCE's infrastructure is decent but far from ideal. As an ECE student, labs have the required equipment, but many systems feels outdated and issues take time to get fixed. Classrooms are functional but lack modern tech and better seating. The campus works fine overall, yet it clearly needs upgrades and more consistent maintenance. A fair 3 star experience.
BMSCE's academics are actually good in ECE. Most profs explain concepts clearly, and a few go out of their way to help. Labs genuinely make you understand the subject instead of just doing formalities but as mentioned earlier the labs need updates. Sometimes the workload feels unbalanced and a few subjects are taught too fast, but overall the teaching quality is solid enough to deserve 4 stars.
Placements at BMSCE are good overall, but not as smooth as they are hyped. For ECE, plenty of companies come, but the competition is high and many role aren't core. Training helps, but the process feels chaotic at times. Still, if you are consistent, you can get a decent offer.
BMSCE is decent but not fully worth the fees. As an ECE student, the academics and placements are good but the infrastructure and overall facilities don't match the amount we pay. You do get a stable college experience, but it often feels like the cost is higher than what you actually receive.
Campus life at BMSCE is pretty good overall. There is always something happening in clubs, fests, events, or just chill spots around campus. The crowd is friendly and it is easy to find your group. But the campus does feel crowded at times and some space nee better upkeep. So I would say the campus life is the best part and the vibe makes it worth 4 stars.
Yes , BMSCE has quite a good infrastructure but lacks in its campus size. But has a good atmosphere which makes you feel good. But doesn't have enough rooms as the intake of students were increased.
I opted Computer science and engineering as I am intrested in tech stuff and the quality of teaching is good and teachers are quite interactive and friendly. Our curriculum is not totally updated which includes recent developments but follows old pattern itself.
A few good companies visit but only top students get decent packages. 70 to 80 percent students get placed and the highest package offered was 51lpa in CSE and IT department. Average salary offered is 10-11 lpa.
BMSCE has strong infrastructure with modern classrooms, updated labs, and a well-stocked library that supports academic growth. The campus is clean and green, creating a good learning environment for students
BMSCE offers strong academics with knowledgeable faculty, well-structured syllabus and good support for projects and research .Many faculties are approachable and explain concepts clearly. Overall, it is quite good.
BMSCE placements are quite good, with many reputable companies visiting and offering good packages, especially for AIML and CSE branches. The placement cell is supportive and conducts useful training sessions.
BMSCE offers good value for money with strong academics, solid placements and a respected reputation. The faculties and campus environment justify much of the fee. Some expenses feel high for certain branches.
The main thing is campus is so small, and the crowd is quite big .It is lively and engaging with numerous clubs ,fests and events that keep students active throughout the year. There is a good balance of academics and extracurriculars.

Hello,
Yes, if you already have the SNQ quota, it will continue in the next rounds also.
So, if you get PES RR CS (AI/ML) in the next round, it will also be allotted under the SNQ quota.
You don’t need to apply for SNQ again, it remains the same
Hey Param:)
Thanks for reaching out!
In KCET counselling, the SNQ quota seats are fixed separately for every college and branch, and they don't automatically transfer if you upgrade. Right now, you have BMSCE CSE under SNQ, but if you try for PES RR (AI/ML) in the next round, you
