The college is of decent size, but the intake is pretty high. Around 50% of the classes have AC's, smart boards and projectors, but the 1st-year building has none of these. They have equipped the Mechanical and Civil departments really well with machines (e.g 3D printing, Lathe machines, etc.), and all the labs on campus have basic working equipment. They have a system of even floor lift and odd floor lift but they don't manage to carry everyone efficiently. Overall, the campus is well maintained.

Most of the teachers have good knowledge of the subjects that they are teaching. They are chill and friendly. The subjects we had in the 1st year were common, but the syllabus was related to our respective branches(e.g we had physics for CSE, civil, etc.). I would say it is 25% teaching and 75% self-study, but they provide good study materials. They are trying to add new elements to make us job-ready.

Because I am currently in the 3rd sem now, I don't have much experience or a clear idea about the placement process yet. 2026 Batch is the 1st batch to graduate from my department, so there isn't much past placement data to compare with.

As I have joined through KCET, my fees for 1 year is around 1.2 lakhs. The hostel fees are quite high and are almost double the college fees for which most of them stay in pg's. Overall, I feel the college is quite decent for the fees I am paying, considering the facilities and academics provided.

There are many clubs in the college, and almost every day there is some event happening. Co-curricular activities are also given importance here, and they provide a lot of opportunities for students to take part in different activities. They conduct 2 fests every year: UTSAV, the cultural fest, and PHASE SHIFT, the technical fest. Students come from all over India. The metro station and the bus stops are also at a walkable distance from the college, which is pretty convenient.

It has better Infrastructure than some other Colleges and The college has good Labs and Setups and Good Buildings. The labs has good equipment,There is also gym facility,Library ,Sports Room and Area

I am studying CS and The quality of Teaching is good and The curriculum some what different from the Current Development .Some of the department Curriculum is different from the Trends and still dsa is in C language

Placements of 2026-27 is going very good and Again Only some people got above 30 LPA and I guess the average salary is 8-9LPA.This time apple came to college and took around 7 people for 70+LPA which is the highest package.

The college infrastructure is genuinely good and satisfies most academic needs. The classrooms are well- ventilated, spacious, and equipped with smart boards that make learning interactive. The library boasts an excellent collection of books, journals, and digital resources, making it a great place for self-study. While the main laboratory equipment is up to date, some of the secondary labs could use minor upgrades. The campus Wi-Fi is reliable in major blocks but occasionally drops near the sports complex. Overall, the physical and digital facilities provide a comfortable environment forstudents.

The academic environment at this institution is highly commendable The academic program is exceptional, featuring a well-structured curriculum that balances theoretical concepts with practical applications.

The placements program at my college is quite good. It offers ample opportunities for students across various branches, ensuring a decent average package and bringing several top-tier companies to campus for recruitment.

Campus life at a major university was usually buzzing with energy, but for Leo, it felt like a series of endless administrative hoops.

Its very good and provides a good environment to us,the classrooms,our indoor sports arena and the jubilee block etc.the indoors and the outdoors are very clean and there is always this good feeling around.

I'm studying Cybersecurity in bms college of engineering and I feel there are well equipped systems for it.i want to study Cybersecurity because I want to excel in the field of computer systems and do well.

The placements are too good,because our college is a very reputed college and many prestigious companies come here for hiring students.A lot of students go for more than 25 lpa which i know is a very good achievement.

It's great,nothing to complain about.just worth it.i can't disclose the exact amount i pay but its worth it

BMS College of Engineering, has a rather small campus in the heart of the city (basavanagudi) so expect less facilities in terms of sports and other extra curricular activities. However the classrooms for computer science (my dept) are fairly new and are equipped with wifi and are well maintained. hostels of bmsce are not in-campus and are spread out in various parts of the city (all near the campus itself). The living spaces are clean and the food is hygienic and fairly tasty.

I am studying BE in computer science engineering because of my own interest in the field. The quality of teaching is fairly good but one should'nt rely 100% on the content provided in class and self study is expected. The faculty are mostly approachable and are fairly regular and punctual and adhere to the class timings. However there are no highly qualified teachers with industry experience. However the curriculum is updated regularly and various courses like skill labs (to develop industry skills for practical applications) are being introduced which can vastly benefit students.

Placement in this college are highly dependent on the branch we have chosen. However for branches coming under computer science cluster, placements are decent. The placement statistics of every year can be found in the official website of BMSCE. I am currently studying in 2nd year so i havent directly been in contact with the placement office however from what i have heard the placement cell is supportive and help the students to get their desired roles. The average package is around 11-15 LPA in computer science branch according to recent statistics

Campus life is very good. There are many clubs which a student can join including various technical, cultural, sports clubs. The campus location is very safe and has a hospital just opposite to the campus so it can handle emergencies.

Overall BMSCE is a good option. And being in a city like Bangalore really boosts the advantages one can have to get placed in various tech-companies.

Academics are rigorous with knowledgeable, faculty and structured curriculum.Teaching quality can vary between professors , but students get good technical exposure through labs , project and extracurular activity and regular assessments

Placements are one of the strongest aspects of the college, particularly for C. SI ML and ECE the Bangalore location alumina network and the industries exposure provides students with strong career opportunity.

The college offers a strong reputation, good placements and industry exposure.However , the overall value for money can depend on the admission route and fees paid , especially considering the hostel expenses

As a CSE student at BMS College of Engineering, the quality of teaching is quite good and aligned with current industry needs. Facilities are proper. 24/7 Wi-Fi connection and labs for different purposes, which are helpful for research and development. Properly silent, good, and large library. Hostel quality is so good, the mess is clean, the canteen is clean, and it provides a variety. Medical facilities are also good, and sports and games are on top.

Faculty are well organized and well qualified, all have good experience in teaching, and the quality is also very good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it does prepare students for the industry. Semester exams are average, and the maximum number of students pass the end sem exam.

77% are placed, and the highest package is 50 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA, and the average is 10 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Amazon, IBM, Infosys, and Accenture. 40% student got internship and in different companies, as I have listed above. Roles are software engineer, AI engineer, and many more.

The best hostels are here with good food and facilities. It is within the campus, and students enjoy their lives here. The hostel canteens are very good, and the very famous medical facilities are also good, as they have their own hospital nearby. Wi-Fi is good, and the labs are very advanced.

All the odd semesters are mostly tough as far as I'm concerned. Teachers are good, very helpful, and very cooperative (if you are an enthusiastic person). It is as if you ask the teachers, they help, they don't spoon-feed. Courses are relevant, also very good courses, not only teach you core subjects, but they also teach you life.

Around 70 percent people get placed. 38 LPA is the highest, and 11 LPA is the average, which these college placements provide. Almost all the companies come, 60-70% people get internships in their 5th sem which is the 3rd year of engineering, SDE, and many other roles are offered, and it is worth it.

I feel the infrastructure is quite satisfactory. The classrooms are large and properly maintained. The labs provide good facilities for practical learning. The library is quiet and perfect for studying. The campus also has a peaceful environment which students enjoy.

Academics are well maintained in the college. Teachers explain subjects clearly and encourage students to ask doubts. Internal tests and assignments help students stay prepared for exams. I find the academic system quite effective. Faculty members are knowledgeable and provide useful explanations. Students also get guidance during practical sessions. Overall academics are satisfactory

Placements in our college are fairly good compared to many other colleges in the region. The placement cell works actively to invite companies every year. Students also get training in aptitude, communication, and interviews which helps a lot. If someone prepares well and maintains decent academic performance, there are good chances to get placed in a reputed company
