BMS College of Engineering, established in 1946, has a well-structured and organized campus. It has four engineering buildings, including a dedicated block for Mechanical. Computer-related courses are conducted in a modern building with air-conditioned classrooms and smart boards, providing a comfortable learning environment. The other two buildings follow a traditional setup with benches and chalkboards, yet they are well maintained and functional. The laboratories are equipped with modern computers and are well maintained for practical learning. The campus also features a well-kept indoor stadium for activities like table tennis, basketball, chess, and badminton

As a CSE student at BMS College of Engineering, the quality of teaching is quite good and aligned with current industry needs. The curriculum is updated regularly, usually every 2–3 years, to include modern technologies and keep students relevant in a fast-changing field. Faculty members focus not only on theoretical concepts but also on practical understanding. Many subjects include assignments and projects that encourage creativity and real-world application of concepts. These projects help students better understand how what they learn is actually used, rather than just memorizing theory. Overall, the teaching approach supports both academic learning and skill development in a balanced and effective way.

At BMS College of Engineering, placements are well organized with a dedicated placement team and a separate office to manage all related activities. The college invites reputed, high-profile companies, giving students strong opportunities to begin their careers. Most of the recruitment process, including technical tests and interviews, is conducted within the campus itself, making it convenient and well structured. The placement team also provides training programs during the 3rd year, which are very useful and effective in preparing students for aptitude tests, technical rounds, and interviews. They work hard to guide students throughout the process, helping them build confidence and improve their skills, leading to successful placements.

For the fee of over ₹10 lakhs per year, it may not initially seem fully worth it. However, considering the overall quality of education, infrastructure, and placement opportunities, the college does offer good value in many aspects. Personalized attention for each student may be limited, but that is quite common in professional courses, so it is generally not a major concern.

Campus life at BMS College of Engineering is vibrant and engaging. Along with academics, BMS provides a great platform for sports, dance, singing, and other talents through various fests and events. These fests also include many fun activities and entertainment events, making campus life enjoyable and lively while helping students relax and connect with others.

Facilities are proper. 24/7 Wi-Fi connection and labs for different purposes, which are helpful for research and development. Properly silent, good, and large library. Hostel quality is so good, the mess is clean, the canteen is clean, and it provides a variety. Medical facilities are also good, and sports and games are on top.

Faculty are well organized and well qualified, all have good experience in teaching, and the quality is also very good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it does prepare students for the industry. Semester exams are average, and the maximum number of students pass the end sem exam.

77% are placed, and the highest package is 50 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA, and the average is 10 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Amazon, IBM, Infosys, and Accenture. 40% student got internship and in different companies, as I have listed above. Roles are software engineer, AI engineer, and many more.

The best hostels are here with good food and facilities. It is within the campus, and students enjoy their lives here. The hostel canteens are very good, and the very famous medical facilities are also good, as they have their own hospital nearby. Wi-Fi is good, and the labs are very advanced.

All the odd semesters are mostly tough as far as I'm concerned. Teachers are good, very helpful, and very cooperative (if you are an enthusiastic person). It is as if you ask the teachers, they help, they don't spoon-feed. Courses are relevant, also very good courses, not only teach you core subjects, but they also teach you life.

Around 70 percent people get placed. 38 LPA is the highest, and 11 LPA is the average, which these college placements provide. Almost all the companies come, 60-70% people get internships in their 5th sem which is the 3rd year of engineering, SDE, and many other roles are offered, and it is worth it.

I feel the infrastructure is quite satisfactory. The classrooms are large and properly maintained. The labs provide good facilities for practical learning. The library is quiet and perfect for studying. The campus also has a peaceful environment which students enjoy.

Academics are well maintained in the college. Teachers explain subjects clearly and encourage students to ask doubts. Internal tests and assignments help students stay prepared for exams. I find the academic system quite effective. Faculty members are knowledgeable and provide useful explanations. Students also get guidance during practical sessions. Overall academics are satisfactory

Placements in our college are fairly good compared to many other colleges in the region. The placement cell works actively to invite companies every year. Students also get training in aptitude, communication, and interviews which helps a lot. If someone prepares well and maintains decent academic performance, there are good chances to get placed in a reputed company

Total campus provides a professional and academic-focused environment. Even though it is located in a busy area of Bangalore, the inside of the campus feels calm and organized. The classrooms are clean, well-lit, and designed for focused learning. Department labs are well maintained and regularly used for practical sessions, mini-projects, and research work. The library is spacious and quiet, offering a wide range of books, journals, and digital learning resources. The college also has auditoriums, seminar halls, sports facilities, and student activity centers.

Faculty are known for their discipline, depth of knowledge, and commitment to teaching. They focus strongly on theory, problem-solving, and exam preparation. Many professors encourage students to take part in research, technical clubs, paper presentations, and national-level competitions. Faculty guidance is especially strong during final-year projects and higher studies preparation like GATE, GRE, and CAT. College has an excellent placement record across most departments. Students from CSE, ISE, and ECE receive the highest number of offers, but Mechanical, EEE, and Civil students also get placed in core and service roles. All Classrooms are spacious with good seating and ventilation, making long lectures manageable. Maximum professors have been teaching for several years and focus a lot on building strong fundamentals. In my college Every year, a large number of reputed companies visit the campus for recruitment. Top IT, product-based, consulting, and core companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Deloitte, Capgemini, Amazon, Microsoft, IBM, Bosch, and Qualcomm recruit students. The average package generally ranges between ₹6–8 LPA, while students with strong coding or analytical skills often secure offers above ₹10–15 LPA. Core branch students also get good roles in manufacturing and engineering firms.

Infrastructure and mess food is top-notch. Hostels are good but cost much higher than expected, charging more than 2 lakhs per year. This amount is too high for an average middle-class family, making it unaffordable for many.

More curricular activities are conducted in form of events. Faculty members are good, but some are average. Three tests are conducted per semester. Students must be attentive to everything taught by faculty, otherwise, they need to study on their own

Placements are good, but only for students with high CGPA. Others need to be highly competitive to get placed. This campus is for students who have determination to compete on campus and talent to study independently without depending on faculty. It's ideal for those students.

It's good. They provide food which is very delicious. I love college food very much. Our canteen provides top quality meals. Wi-Fi provided in the college is the best and I love it. Labs are filled with good equipment. They are not damaged. Labs and the library are clean.

Teachers are well-mannered and provide quality education which might be helpful in placement times. Semesters are very difficult to pass. They won't give marks properly, so most students from the BMSCE have low CGPAs. Teachers are very helpful in solving problems.

Around 80% of students got placements. The highest salary package offered is 45 LPA. The average salary package offered is 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Wipro and Amazon. Around 70% of students got internships. Good roles are provided, and I completely believe that I will get a placement here. I am very happy to belong here. My course is CSDS and lecturers here are very good.

The infrastructure at BMSCE is modern and sufficient for academics, with well equipped CSE labs, reliable WIFI and digital classrooms, but first year classes happen in separate building which are not equipped with digital classrooms , the large intake has caused noticeable crowding in labs, lifts and common spaces, which affects smooth movement and lab availability during peak hours. So overall it's average but functional.

Academics at BMSCE are fairly strong, especially in CSE, with a structured syllabus, regular labs, internal assessments, and continuous evaluation that keep students academically engaged. However, large class sizes, uneven teaching quality among faculty, and an exam oriented approach sometimes limit in-depth understanding, flexibility, and meaningful student- faculty interaction.

Placements at BMSCE are moderate, with good participation from IT and service based companies. Core product roles and high packages are limited and highly competitive. Students with strong skills and projects benefit more, while average performers face tougher placement outcomes.

The value for money at BMSCE is moderate. While the college offers a reputed brand, decent academics, and acceptable infrastructure, the high fees and large student intake reduce individual benefits. Outcomes depend heavily an self effort rather than institutional support alone.

the college infrastructure is well developed, providing clean facilities, comfortable study space and also modern labs and well stocked library that supports a quality learning experience. there are also sports facilities and open space that encourage student to participate in physical activities and stay active.

i choose CSE course due to my interest in the subject and career growth opportunities. the teaching quality is too good, and the faculty are supportive. Regular tests and assignment and projects help in better understanding of concept.

the placement opportunities in the college are good,with many companies visiting the compus. the placement cell supports student with training,mock interviews and guidence helping us prepare for jobs.

the course fee is reasonable compared to the facilities and quality of education provided. i feel that the college good value for money through quality teaching,infrastructure, and learning opportunities.

The campus life is enjoyable and interactive . there are various clubs, cultural events, and sports activities that help student relax and socialize . the campus is clean and safe , creating a friendly and positive environment.
