College Infrastructure
The college has a decent campus with all the basic amenities. Canteen and food court are also clean and hygienic. Wifi facility is also there for day scolars as well as hostel students. Classrooms have fans which are sufficient taking the weather of Bangalore in concern.
Academics
As always, there are only some teachers wh teach good otherwise you are on yourself for the studies. The college cirriculum is updated as it contains many on going things knowledge. But the exams schedule will screw your life like anything. 3 internals with end sem. And moreover the college teachers has the most rigid and most adamant faculty which will really make your life like hell.
Placements
As heard from the seniors, the placement is very good if you are pursuing for a software or a mechanical job. You are good to go. Aiming for a core electronics or electrical job and you need to work very very very hard for that because core companies always have a benchmark of grades which is very high. And as always the college faculty will try hard not to give you any marks.
Value-for-money
It's around 2.5 lpa. Quite reasonable among private colleges.
Anything Else
Good college but only when you are not getting any government or any of the relatively better private college because as mentioned above taking so many exams and so much pressure will screw you like anything.

College Infrastructure
Overall infrastructure is average, some more facilities should be added. Some of the departments should be renovated because they are old. Infrastructure should be improved so that students get all facilities.
Academics
Academics is fine, teaching is average. Practical application is less. This should be increased so that the person learn more and get good knowledge. Curriculum is fine and not too good, not too bad .
Placements
Placements are good as per seniors, maximum students are placed, few of them choose higher studies. Highest package was 53 LPA CTC according to my knowledge and in CSE. Average package is good and mainly college has it's name because of placements and that matters in India currently.
Value-for-money
Course fees is around 2.4 lpa.
Campus Life
Campus is not too big, nearly 54 acres that hits the most. Also cultural fest is held once in two years but it should be held every year. It is safe.
Anything Else
Overall experience is average. Not so good, not so bad. It's fine and okay.

College Infrastructure
Facilities are pretty good but wifi is a little slow and the projectors for smart boards are not always working. But overall lab facilities, library and sport centres are pretty good and have decent equipment and are well maintained.
Academics
The quality of teaching really just varies from teacher to teacher. Few teachers are genuinely good and are so passionate about the subject they're teaching and make the class interesting but few teachers fail to deliver the knowledge to students in an effective way. The curriculum is updated I think and contains all recent developments but sometimes more focus is given on theoretical learning than practical application.
Placements
The placement in my college has been pretty good in the past few years. The highest package usually goes to students from branches like CSE and ECE. I'm still a junior and haven't had my placements yet so I'm not sure how smoothly the placement process goes.

College Infrastructure
Facilities are reasonable. Mess can be improved. Rooms for first years are okay, however wifi is not appreciable. Our branch classrooms could also be improved. Although I heard renovation is taking place.
Academics
I've taken a course of electronics and communication. So far I'm in first year, so I'm not familiar with the actual curriculum for the course. I heard it's a bit hectic when compared to other courses offered by the college. But I think it's worth it
Placements
Placements is probably the one thing RVCE is famous for. I think the college does offer placement training which is worth it and the placement community in RVCE is better than other colleges and so are the placement offers
Value-for-money
The college is costly for COMEDK applicants a lot cheaper for CET students. It's almost 1/3rd the cost. So value for money is one department which the college could certainly spend sone resources on..
Campus Life
Campus Life is pretty decent. With. Two grounds, tennis courts and two sports complexes. Although one sports complex is technically a basketball court. And the other is also technically a badminton court.

College Infrastructure
The Infrastructure of our clg is good ,its not very big though. The wifi facility is there in the entire campus (The wifi speed will be good infront of Electrical Department). The food will be hygine in the mess but most of us wont recommend that coz we prefer outside food than mess😅.
Academics
Im studying ECE in RV clg. The teaching of the electrical and electronic dept teachers is awesome but a lot of spoon feeding. Our dept HOD is very strict 24/7 she will talk about rules but a nice lady.
Placements
The highest package is around 50 lakhs per annum for CS dept, The avg for CS dept is around 12lakhs . ECE dept will get the highest no of placements , the highest package so far is 40 laks per annum, the avg salary package is around 8 to 9 lacks per annum.
Value-for-money
As i am from other state i had to pay 2 lakhs per annum for the tution fee. Our RV clg is highly reputated clg in Bangalore So the course fee is high , Im really not sure whether im getting my money's worth.
Campus Life
The only thing I like about our clg is the innovative clubs in it , There are around 18 clubs that u can join.As i already told u that teachers will spoon feed u, there are a few sadist teachers so stay away from them 😅
Anything Else
Even though the infrasturce , academics ,placements are ok, i wont recommend this clg coz management is money minded they will find ways to collect fines ,There are lot of issues and pbs we faced just in this one year

College Infrastructure
Infrastructure is so good. Well equipped machines and technology oriented. Classrooms, Laboratories, Libraries have all the facilities as per the requirement. Smart boards are well-maintained in the college. Wifi is available in classrooms and hostels both with proper internet speed. Living spaces are clean and food is hygienic but there are some problem with north-indian people as the food they provide doesn't suit those people properly.
Academics
Academics of this institution is too good. I am studying BE in ECE. Quality of teaching is too good in this college. Curriculum is properly updated and they improvise the curriculum based on the current technology. Yes, they include all the recent developments in the field. This study can make anyone job-ready without any doubt. Only the thing is they take 3 internals in a semester. HOD or Dean send emails regarding some internship which is damn interesting.
Placements
Quality of placement depends on one's study. If he/she has studied properly, he/she can get good placement in this college. Nearly 80-90% students in were placed from my branch. Highest package was 32 lac per annum in my branch. One student from CSE department got placement with annual package of 55 lac per annum. Average salary offered was 7-8 lac per annum. Placement process is not so difficult but not so easy also. Before placement, they try to shape student properly.
Value-for-money
Course cost per year is 2,01,960 as tuition fees and 38,000 is development fund. 1,00,000 is hostel charge. Overall, it costs around 3,50,000 for a year. Yes, I feel I am getting my money's worth as I am getting proper education from one of the good colleges and I am technologically updating day by day.
Campus Life
Campus life is good. Students are engaged in various activities. We have lots of clubs in our college and we actively participate in all those. We have some club events also at the end of semester which is damn interesting. Location is quite good. It is safe and can handle all types of emergencies.

College Infrastructure
All classrooms have projectors to ease the teaching and laboratory are well equipped. Wi-fi is all over the campus, you can get high speed wi-fi and whole campus is well maintained, and I would like add it's litter free.
Academics
For the first year I fell syllabus is outdated, TBH it's better then VTU syllabus but it still need to be modified and i feel introducing 2nd year subject to first year is a good idea. Teaching faculties are good.
Placements
Placement is outstanding, handful of students comes to RV for placements only. Here companies comes to hire you for internship also and average placement packages here will be always higher from rest of the college's in Bangalore.
Value-for-money
The MQ is very expensive for top branches like CSE, ISE and ECE. But coming to college through KCET is affordable.
Campus Life
College conducts college day for every 2 years, when you join this college be prepared for less entertainment.
Anything Else
Here they conducts more exams from any of the college in Bangalore

College Infrastructure
We have all the necessary facilities. So...we have a black board , a smart board and projector for various ppt displays during the lecture. Yes, they are maintained well but for some situations. Yes, the living spaces are pretty clean but sometimes short of water and food is all good and hygienic
Academics
I am pursuing BTech in Electronics and Instrumentation. Yes, the theoretical teaching is good but practical teaching needs tl be improved. The curriculum is updated and I think so..it includes all the developments since we have not entered the branch in particular
Placements
Almost 75% of students are placed and most of them get good salary package. The average package is 7 lakhs per annum and the highest package last year was 54 lakhs. Since I am first year student, I haven't experienced the placement.
Value-for-money
It costs me 60 thousands per year. Yes, what I am getting in college is worth but needs to be improved when it comes to practical way of teaching and better equipment for the labs. The teaching and material we get is money's worth.
Campus Life
The college campus is little small but it seems big when compared to others in Banglore. And it is peaceful. We have sports complexes where most of them engage in several games playing and libraries for studies and many tech and non tech clubs . The campus is pretty safe and there will be a check in the entrance and is safe. Yes, emergencies can be handles since we have a medical centre inside the campus and ambulance for bigger issues.
Anything Else
People in the campus are cool and friendly. My experience of one year here went good and I am happy and proud to study here.

College Infrastructure
The college has a great infrastructure which supports all kinds of activities both technical and non-technical. Its a huge campus, with well equipped laboratories. The campus is clean and beautiful, full of greenery. The library is spacious with a number of books also supporting e-Resources for learning. The campus also has a gym, tennis court, cricket and football ground and a basketball court. The boys hostel is in the campus while the girls hostel which is outside, would soon be shifted in.
Academics
I am currently pursuing ECE here. The college has well qualified and supportive teaching staff. The curriculum is well updated as per the industry requirement and involves a wide exposure to all new technologies.
Placements
The college has best placements compared to any other college in the state. The CS and ECE students bag the best offers among other branches also their placement percentage is comparatively higher. The highest package previous year was 52 lack given to a CS student and the average package is 7 lack.
Value-for-money
The college is a bit expensive. The hostel and mess fees is very high. The overall cost per year comes to be more than 2 lack. The hostels are not worth the fees.
Campus Life
The campus is very spacious and huge, its filled with greenery. The food court and the coffee shop are the popular spots where the students hangout with their friends. The campus life is fun filled. The campus is situated on the 8th mile, Mysore Road. The college fest named '8th mile' is the most awaited event for the students.

College Infrastructure
RV College of Engineering (RVCE) has various facilities and infrastructure provided to the students, faculty and the staff on the college. Facilities like a food court, transport, health centre, sport and gymnasium, reprographic services, rainwater harvesting phases, seminar halls, hostel, and library are provided by the RVCE.
Academics
I am pursing mt be in ece i love etronic devices so i took admission in ece.Teachers are not highly qualified, but they are good. Teaching quality is not the top, but it is better if we read after every class or revise. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready, but it is not sufficient for an engineering college.
Placements
Very less percentage of the students are placed from our college. The average salary package offered was 5 LPA and the highest salary package offered was 15 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Infosys, BEL India and other good companies. Top roles offered to the students are mostly based on research. Very less percentage of the students are placed from our college. The average salary package offered was 5 LPA and the highest salary package offered was 15 LPA. The top recruiting companies come
Value-for-money
the fess take for per year in rv college is 3.90 for per/year i think the things they provide for this amount is not really worth the food in mess and the classroom and instruments in labs i dont say they dont have instrument but half of them dose not work
Campus Life
I have chosen this course because I wanted to study civil engineering course. I want to design structures. The best thing about our course is that there are many government job opportunities. This is relatively easy from other courses. Many things which we study are not in present use, so the college should update the syllabus. Our main college fest named 8 Mile, is organised at our college for 3 days. The campus is crowded only in working hour because only 30% of students reside in the hostel.
Anything Else
the cllg life is great and study is also great but one things hits the most is the food and living space that is the reason i personal dont like this cllg

RVCE is ranked no.1 in karnataka (excluding NITK) according to the KCET & COMEDK cutoff makes the student first choice college. It is known for its Placement which is at par with NIT Surathkal for Circuit branches (like-CS/IT, ECE , EEE , EIE ,TE etc.).But for the core branches (like-MECH,CIVIL,CHEM,IEM & Production) comes just next to the Nitk. Related to the faculty and research,it is growing year by year. The college campus provides a lot of extracurricular activities in the form of Clubs, debate societies etc..In a Summary, the college is excellent for study an engineering course for a student interested and dedicated in this field.

If you have a good rank in cet and think of joining this college? Think about it again. Unless you still want to feel you are still at school. And the teaching faculty? Expect a few all are below average. Attdendence is a huge issue over here even if you score good they will put you through fasttrack if your attendence is low. You are restricted of wearing clothes no tshirts no ripped jeans no sleeveless no leggings . Placements are good only for cs is ec and mech. Civil people? Not even one compnay had come last year . So basically a big no for this college

This review deserves all my honesty and I shall be honest till it becomes controversial. I wouldn't be able to say that the two years I have spent at the RV college of engineering have been the best two years I have spent in my life. All through my school years I was always the popular kid, I was good at studies, sports, musically inclined. I was smart enough to outsmart the authorities while engaging in acts of mischief and misconduct but still won the admiration of teachers and students. The fact that I am stating this in my review can clearly indicate how narcissistic I became and how much of it has still stayed with me. That's why the two years at RV College were never the best two years of my life but they were the most important two years that I have ever lived, the two years that had the most impact on my life. I expected my college life to be the same as my life has always been but it never was, those two years taught me that I was a nobody, that it was always better to be a fish in the ocean than a piranha in the river. The greatest experience my college has given me and to which I am indebted to is humility. It taught me the greatest life lesson of all, to never be discouraged or overconfident by competition. One may think, it is all too cheesy and that can be found in any college but they forget only the brightest and the fortunate ones end up in college. If one argued that every college was the same and opened the same opportunities then what is all the fuss about the the IITs, RV college is a shorter peak but it is the tallest mountain in our region nonetheless. You can log on to the RV college website or check their Wikipedia page and you will see how big their campus is , how many basketball courts and tennis courts they have but that is not why I am writing this review. I am going to tell you about what actually happens at those sports facilities. We have one of the most amazing football and basketball teams and well the country knows of a famous cricketer who is our alumni so you cant begin to imagine how great our cricket team is. Our tennis courts are always well maintained and you are free to use them any time. You think of an idea and our college will ready to fund you on your club endeavour. We have technical clubs ranging from solar car teams to racing cars and even satellite teams. Our college fest needs no introduction, attending it is the most alive experience you can have. It does not matter what type of music you prefer, I love the classic rock and metal tunes, the fest spread over three days will ensure you suffer the only overdose you deserve, a musical overdose. If the fest is that big we must have cultural clubs that exciting to support it, there are dance clubs, debate clubs, quiz clubs, theater clubs, music clubs to name a few. If you are one of the few who got pushed into engineering but wanted to pursue something else, RV is the right destination even if it is the wrong road taken. The college atmosphere is very relaxing and the students are too friendly always ready to lend a hand to one of our own.So come be a part of the RV family, a place where the college believes in delivering superior quality with a substantial discount from the fees to the cafeteria food. Robert Frost said " Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference." Those immortal lines don't apply here, getting into RV is the most traveled road and that road is the one that makes all the difference.

It has a very good student life due to advantage of location (Bangalore). The same also allows for a lot of exposure to the IT sector. It has good quality faculty and infrastructure along with prime location in he center of the city. It is a good place for networking as well, which would be a great help in professional life.

RV college of engineering is the one of the top college in Bangalore. The college is a private technical college which is located in Mysore Road, Bangalore. The campus is very wide and beautiful. Almost all students coming here are brilliant. This college is changing the students career. This is giving great atmosphere to study. If we study here we will get a lot of opportunities. Mainly they are providing excellent placement services. So many companies such as Microsoft, Oracle, Google, Intel, IBM and Accenture are visiting this campus. So that students will get a great career. Administration of this college is manged by Rashtreeya Shikshana Samiti Trust. Administration is good. Admissions are based on merit and through management quota. They are conducting many students activities such as College festival, department events, Cultural activities, sports, Language awareness and social service. Cricket and Football are the main sports items here.Good faculty supports are there and also have good Alumni networks. Overall this college is great.

1) There are many cultural clubs like CAT, DEBSOC, QUIZ CORP etc.,.You are given an opportunity to be a part of any club of your choice. 2) You will get to learn a lot. Probably not in the classroom, but if you are a part of technical teams. Few teachers are just amazing. Overall RVCE is a wonderful college to join.

Rvce is a very good college. Few good points about the college are- 1) Really hardworking folks here..even if u think you have given your 100% there would be someone who will perform better than you while juggling some random position in a club. 2) Some brilliant professors are there, you just got to find them. 3) Lots of technical and cultural clubs. Some bad things 1) Silly and strict rules

The RV College of Engineering (RVCE) campus is huge and is also very beautiful. There is a separate block for each department. The academic infrastructure is top class. Labs are of course well-equipped and also have equipment which is not usually found in any other colleges of the city. Some of the faculty at RV College of Engineering (RCVE) are pretty amazing, but they are few. Half of the faculty members are freshers who don’t have much of an experience. Communication in class is in English and sometimes in Kannada as well. So outsiders might face problems understanding what they teach. You are expected to have at least 85%. A 10% relaxation is given for genuine medical reasons or for participating in extra-curricular activities. 50% students are from various parts of Karnataka while the rest 50% are from all parts of the country. A lot of nerdy type of crowd is to be expected over here. A lot of festivals happen here but ‘8th Mile’ is the biggest among all of them. Although it's not on as large scale as some of the more popular festivals in the city arranged by colleges which are in the league of RVCE Hostels for 2nd and final year are new and they’re nice. The first years' hostels are average. But the 3rd years' hostels are old and in a pathetic condition. There are just 4 bathrooms between 64 students. Mess food is fine but offers no variety to students. Hostel charges are Rs 45,000 a year including mess charges. Placements are the best part. 100% placement for all branches is guaranteed. More IT companies than the core ones visit the campus, so CS, IS and ECE branches gets more salaries which are 4.5 – 5 lakh on an average. IBM, Wipro & Accenture are the major recruiters for these branches. Big MNCs like Microsoft & Texas Instruments also took a few students offering an amazing package of 10 to 12 Lakhs. Mechanical, Civil, IM and other branches get average 3.5 lakh package and their major recruiters are Bosch & L&T.

It's good for the student who really want good job and for students whose wants to build their career strong. All you need is to spend your time and read. That's it. Don't bother whether you're in any branch, all branches have their equal placements. All the best.i strongly recommend you to join this college in bangalore

RVCE is one of the best colleges in Bangalore. It has great placements. Few of the facilities are not clear with concepts. But many of them are experts in their respective domains. Another plus point about this college is the extracurricular activities. It has many nontechnical and technical clubs which helps every student develop nonacademically and pursue their interests. Overall RVCE is a very good college to join.

RVCE is one of the reputed colleges in Karnataka. My journey of 2 years in RV as I am presently studying in 2nd year is really nice. There are lots n lots of opportunities to explore ourselves. But the only negative thing here is the teaching. According to me the teachers here aren't upto the expectations. Some of them get struck while explaining. But, there are good teachers as well who are the best in their concepts. Overall its a great college and if anyone wants to enjoy their college life along with studies then this is the best choice.

Faculty encourages each and every student to come forward and put their ideas. They also ensure full support to the student who wanna do something different even apart from studies. Even seniors here are very supportive. And the best part is there are many technical teams, Dance group and Drama group in the college which helps a lot to improve student's personality and confidence.

RVCE is a good college. But some of the faculty members are themselves not clear with concepts and hence don't teach properly. It has good industry exposure and lab facilities. The best part about RVCE is it's placements. Students are trained for internships and placements from second year itself. Hence most of the students get placed in their dream company with great packages. Overall RVCE is a great college to join.

In RVCE, conceptual learning and application of the knowledge gained are given major importance. Though some people depict the atmosphere as unbearable, one will judge it based on how it is looked upon as. It is mostly a student driven system rather than a teacher driven system. Extra curricular and co curricular activities are given as much importance as academics is given. There are lot of opportunities to better one's personality, skill, talent, etc.

As I have felt its very proud to be in my college. Wonderful opportunities for all who have knowledge. Wonderful platform to compete and improve knowledge. But the only thing which I didn't like is teaching it's not that good. But overall its a good college. There is a lot of support for all technical cubs. Totally good

The college is very nice..there are a lot of opportunities to learn There are many clubs through which we can get a lot of exposure if we use them right Faculty is very friendly at least in chemical engineering department But the schedule is very hectic and have to work hard since day 1 since each internal and assignment will be considered and added to the final grade The concept of self study presentation helps us to grow and manage stage fear So overall the college is really good

The RV College of Engineering (RVCE) campus is huge and is also very beautiful. College needs to provide better facilities for sports. The academic infrastructure is top class. Library is pretty big and has a lot of books. But it needs to enhance its collection as some of the books are not found in sufficient numbers.
