Admission Process 2021
MIT courses include B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc and MCA. MIT admission to technical courses (B.Tech and M.Tech) will be done through the entrance examination conducted by the institute. According to the MIT admission process, for M.Sc. and MCA admission is offered on merit basis that is the marks obtained by the candidates in qualifying examination. MIT Admission Procedure for B.Tech Programmes
Candidates have to fill out the online application form available on the official website of the institute.
Registered candidates will have to appear in the All India Manipal Entrance Test for MIT admission to the engineering courses.
Admissions are done on the basis of rank in the All India Manipal Entrance Test (MET) and candidates will be shortlisted accordingly.
Shortlisted candidates shall be eligible for the last stage of MIT admission process that comprises the counselling process, verification of documents and fee payment.
Admittance to Manipal Institute of Technology will be confirmed once the documents get verified and the requisite course fee is paid by the shortlisted candidate.
Manipal Institute of Technology M.Tech Admission
Aspirants have to apply and appear for Manipal Entrance Test (MET) PG conducted by Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE).
MET PG merit list is prepared by the authorities on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in the exam.
GATE qualified candidates will be allotted an additional 10%.
Candidates have to participate in the MET PG Counselling as per the merit list. They have to do the choice filling and choice locking.
Once the seats are allotted, candidates have to get the documents verified and pay the requisite fee.
Final selection to the MANIPAL M.Tech programme is based on the scores of Manipal Entrance Test (MET), participation in the counselling process, document verification and fee payment.
MIT Admission Process for M.Sc and MCA Programmes
Aspiring candidates have to download the application form and submit the completely filled form along with all the required documents on the website of Manipal Institute of Technology.
MIT admission to the M.Sc programme shall be based on the merit of the qualifying examination that is the aggregate percentage in graduation.
Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the merit of the qualifying examination and such candidates shall be eligible for the further MIT admission procedure.
Shortlisted candidates have to get their documents verified and pay the requisite fee in order to confirm the MIT admission.
Thus, the final admission of the candidates to the above-mentioned courses will be based on the merit of the qualifying exam, participation in the document verification and fee payment.
