What’s new at RIT Bangalore?

• Admissions to all the undergraduate and postgraduate courses are open under the management quota for the  academic year of 2023-24 through the Ramaiah Institute Of Technology admissions portal. 

• Supplementary semester classes and exams for BE and B.Arch students of 2021 batch in between 1st to 6th semester will be starting from September 11, 2023.

Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore which is also known as MSRIT/ RIT Bangalore was established in 1968. RIT courses are offered at UG, PG and doctoral in 68 different programmes in the fields of Engineering & Architecture, Sciences, Management & Business Administration, and Computer Application & Information Technology. RIT admissions are done on the basis of candidate’s performance in the KCET/ CMAT/ UGET/ KMAT/ PGCET/ MAT and other entrance tests followed by a counselling round depending on the course. According to the data provided by the NIRF, a total of 812 students at UG level got placed in RIT placements drive 2022 out of 1121 eligible students with the RIT median salary package of Rs 5,50,000. Some of the top recruiters are HDFC Bank, Qualcomm, Firetide Networks, HCL, Google and more that participate in the RIT Bangalore placements drives.

Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an ‘A’ grade and a score of ‘3.28’, and the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) has also accredited the RIT Bangalore. Ramaiah Institute of Technology Bangalore ranked 67 amongst 1249 engineering colleges and it ranked 17 out of 91 architecture colleges all over the country as per MHRD, Government of India, 2022. RIT infrastructure is spread over an area of approximately 85 acres and it is well structured and designed consisting of the academic buildings, administrative blocks, hostels, library, laboratories, classrooms and more available on the RIT campus. Facilities provided by the institute include a well-equipped gym, a library, auditoriums, board rooms, common rooms, recreation centres, and two food courts and more RIT facilities.
