Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for MAHE Online MCA, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria set by the university:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ IT or an equivalent degree from a university/ institution as recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) or other competent bodies.


  • Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in any other discipline must have studied mathematics in bachelor’s or 10+2. These candidates need to complete the additional bridge courses as per the norms of the university.


  • Candidates must have secured at least 50 percent marks in aggregate in graduation.

  • Candidates who have completed 10+2 or graduate-level education outside India must generate a certificate of equivalence issued by the Association of Indian Universities.

  • Candidates are also required one year of work experience in reputed organisations.

Evaluation Process

MAHE Online conducts Internal Assessment (IA) and End Term Examination (ETE) to evaluate a student’s performance. The weightage of the internal assessment is 30 marks and the end-term examination is 70 marks. 

Students must score a minimum of 40 percent in the internal assessment to be eligible for the end-term examination. They must score at least 40 percent in the end-term examination to be declared as having passed a subject.
