For admission to First semester: 

• Candidates should have passed class 10. 

• For the Mining Engineering program, the minimum age requirement is 16 years, while for other engineering programs, the minimum age is 14 years as of July 1st.

•  There is no upper age limit for admission.

For admission to third semester: 

• Applicants should have passed class 12th grade with subjects in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) subjects, or they should possess a 2-year +2 Vocational qualification, or have completed a 2-year ITI course in any trade, with a pass in the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination.
