Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology has a Career Development Centre (CDC) on campus. The IGIT college manages and handles all the placement-related activities of the institute. Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology Sarang placements process starts with registration, then submission of resumes to recruiters, shortlisting of graduates based on their resume, pre-placement talks on IGIT campus, screen test, group discussions and personal interviews.
According to the NIRF 2024 Report, 405 UG students were placed during the 2023 placement drive at Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology Sarang. The IGIT Sarang placements drives are conducted by the career development centre. The career development centre also invites many recruiting companies and agents to partake in the placement drives on the IGIT Sarang campus.

60-70% of students get placed every year from every branch. The highest package is 10 LPA, the lowest is 3.5 LPA, and the average package is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Adani, Tata Power, Visa Steel, Vedant, Ultratech Cement, etc. 70-80% of students got internships from my course, and most of them preferred PWD, Railway, CTTC, HAL, DRDO, NALCO, ZINDAL, etc.

Placements for mechanical engineering at our college are good. Companies like L&T, PPL, Adani, JK Paper, etc., visit our college for placement drives. The average salary package offered ranges from 3.5 to 4.5 LPA. Role offered is as GET in most of the companies. Placement drives are currently ongoing, I am unaware of the exact placement percentage. Around 50-60% of students from the mechanical branch are placed in reputed organizations.

Since you've been allotted Electrical Engineering at IGIT Sarang (4th choice) and your top 3 preferences are at VSSUT Burla which is a more reputed institute with better academics and placements it's wise to choose "Float" and try for a higher option in the next 2 OJEE rounds. If your

So according to your percentage that is 56% in 12 class and 90 percentage in JEE MAINS 2025 you do have chances of getting admission into IGIT Sarang college.You can go for branches such as Mechanical, Electrical, Civil. While other branches with higher cutt offs are very difficult for you.
