For the Mining Engineering program, the minimum age requirement is 16 years, while for other engineering programs, the minimum age is 14 years as of July 1st.

For admission to third semester:

Applicants should have passed class 12th grade with subjects in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) subjects, or they should possess a 2-year +2 Vocational qualification, or have completed a 2-year ITI course in any trade, with a pass in the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination.
