Khandesh College Education Society's Institute of Management and Research, Jalgaon Admission Process

Khandesh College Education Society's Institute of Management and Research (IMR), Jalgaon, is a prestigious institution for being one of the institutes offering management and computer applications programs. The institute is recognized by AICTE and has a well-established competitive and merit-based admission process for its courses at the postgraduate level. Usually, the application cycle for admission into IMR usually synchronizes with the academic year around August-September; however, applications would typically open in the months leading up to that period. The national-level entrance exam considers primarily the admission of MBA and MCA applicants to IMR institutes. The admission for the MBA programs is through the MBA-CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Mumbai, while the other examinations, which can be used for entering the MBA program, comprises CAT (Common Admission Test) CMAT (Common Management Admission Test) and AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA).

Depending on the program, different eligibility criteria apply differently. To be eligible for an MBA program, students must have a bachelor's degree from a recognized university. The MCA program requires candidates to appear for the MAH-MCA-CET conducted by the Government of Maharashtra. Specific eligibility criteria for each program are prescribed by the respective governing bodies as well as by the institute. Generally, important admission process dates, including application deadlines and dates of entrance examination and announcement of results, are in accordance with the schedules of the above-mentioned national-level entrance examination. Therefore, prospective students are advised to keep visiting the official IMR website and the site of the respective entrance examinations for the latest information regarding important dates and deadlines.

      4. Upload the necessary documents which include academic certificates, entrance exam scorecard, and other related certificates.
      5. Pay the application fee as specified by the institute.
      6. Shortlisted candidates may be called for a personal interview or group discussion.
      7. Final selection will be based on the entrance exam score, academic performance, and interview/GD performance (if applicable).

      Degree Wise Admission Process

MBA: The MBA program is fairly large, offering 180 admissions. The admission is based primarily on the results of DTE, Mumbai MBA-CET. The candidates can also use scores from accepted CAT, CMAT, and ATMA. The MBA program's fee would cost a total of Rs.139,020. Final selection may consider the entrance examination score, academic performance, and a possible personal interview.

MBA Pharmaceutical Management: Has an intake of 60 seats. Admission is granted based on scores in CAT, CMAT, or ATMA. It is designed for students interested in management in the pharmaceutical sector.

MCA: The program of Master of Computer Applications at IMR allocates 180 seats. Admission is conducted via MAH-MCA-CET, administered by the Maharashtra Government. Total amount for the MCA program is Rs148,680. The eligibility criteria will be decided by the state CET cell.

The Program MCA Integrated: IMR has a special program known as integrated MCA, which has 60 seats. Admission procedures are absent, but it is assumed that the program will follow the admission process similar to the regular MCA program, with some extra criteria that will fit the nature of the integrative course.

BCA and BBA: There are also 180 such seats reserved for these undergraduate programs. The process is not elaboratively explained; however, these kinds of admissions would generally include merit-based selection from 10+2 results and perhaps an entrance test or interview.

BMS: The Bachelor of Management Studies program with its 60 seats is likely to follow a similar process as other programs, though admission criteria are not specified.

Documents that are usually required are:

      • Passport size photographs
      • 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates
      • Graduation mark sheets and degree certificate (for postgraduate courses)
      • Entrance exam scorecard
      • Caste certificate (if applicable)
      • Domicile certificate (if required)
      • Any other certificates as specified by the institute

Candidates must read the eligibility criteria carefully and their application process carefully before applying to avoid any last-minute confusion regarding admission. It is also advisable to frequently check the official IMR website for any updates or changes related to the admission process.

      Academics

The curriculum is well structured for BCA programme over in both theoretical and practical aspects most faculty members are knowledgeable and approachable making complex topics easier to invest in how your some teaching methods feel outdated and there is a need for modern industry oriented workshops and seminars to keep students updated with current trends

      College Infra

The infrastructure is fairly good with spacious classrooms functional computer labs and decent library the campuses clean and peaceful creating good learning at most fear however some facilities like the canteen parking and sports areas need upgraded

      Campus Life

campus life is decent with friendly environment and supportive peers there are cultural and academic events occasionally which gives students a break from routine however the campus lakes vibrant clubs active students societies and large scale fees so it may feel a bit dull compared to bigger universities

      Placements

Placement opportunity our average some reputed it companies visit the company and a few students get the placed however the number of companies is limited and students often have to rely on off campus players for better opportunities placement training sessions are provided but could be more intensive

      Value For Money

The face structure is a reasonable compared to other private colleges Offering similar courses you get basic facilities and quality education but considering the limited extracurricular activities and moderate placement support some studies may feel its not really value for money
