IIM Lucknow Admission Process

Indian Institute of Management Lucknow admissions are provided for various courses at the postgraduate and doctoral levels. IIM Lucknow admission to the Ph.D programme is done based on the GMAT/GRE/CAT/GATE/JRF(NET) examination scores. Candidates are shortlisted for Analytical Writing Test and face-to-face or online interview round as per the IIM Lucknow CAT admissions process. Students must fulfil the IIML eligibility criteria to apply for the courses.

IIM Lucknow PG Admission Process

Students have to appear and qualify for the CAT/GMAT.
IIM Lucknow will declare the CAT cutoff percentage.
Students who meet the cutoff declared by IIM Lucknow can fill out the application form on the official website of the institute.
Further, students have to appear for an Written Ability Test and Personal Interview.
Candidates will be shortlisted based on the student's performance in the WAT and PI.
Minimum passing score in the interview round is 18 out of 60 marks.
Complete the IIM Lucknow admission process by submitting documents and paying the IIM Lucknow fees.

IIM Lucknow Doctorate Admissions 2024

The institute offers Fellow Programme in Management(FPM) courses at the doctoral level. The duration of the course is 4 years. IIM Lucknow admissions in its FPM programmes are based on the score of CAT/GRE/GMAT/GATE/UGC-JRF.

Candidates have to appear for the personal interview round.
Students will be selected on the basis of their past academic performance, written test and personal interview performance conducted by the IIM Lucknow.
Candidates selected need to deposit course fees and submit the documents to confirm their admission.

Candidates from Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) will be granted 10% of the seats. Candidates who identify as Persons with Disabilities (PwD) will have 5% of the seats reserved accordingly.

I've got 75% in 10th 87% in 12th & 75% in degree (B.sc) probably if i can expect a call from iim Lucknow 90%ile in cat

See, your academics are the most problematic things, as with 75%, 87% in schooling (10th and 12th), and 75% in your graduation, you are in quite disadvantageous position. And since you are in B.Sc, you'll be counted in the same bucket as engineers, you you'll get no diversity points as well.

The best thing will be that you re-attempt CAT after getting some work experience, because workex is the only thing which can counter all the negative things in your CV. All the best!

Should I go for a PGPM in MDI Gurgaon or for IIM L ABM?

Hi,

Both MDI Gurgaon and IIM Lucknow are top tier B-Schools of India and getting an oppurtunity to study in any of them is a blessing in disguise. However there are few differences in the courses we must consider:

Course details:

PGPM in MDI Gurgaon- PGPM Course is designed to nurture students and help build their managerial and leadership qualities. This programme helps understand social, economic, political and ecological environment of modern society. It helps students become leaders and think out of the box.
ABM in IIM Lucknow- The two-year Post Graduate Programme in Agribusiness Management is a full -time residential course designed to develop agribusiness leaders, entrepreneurs, and intrapreneurs with vision, competence and appropriate attitude for promoting/ growing agribusiness and agro-based enterprises with a strong international orientation.

Think about your priorities clearly. If you want to contribute to the agro industries then definitely you should pursue ABM course. Else you can go for PGPM course.

How many seats are there in IIM Lucknow ABM program?

Hi,

IIM Lucknow's PGP- Agribusiness Management (ABM) is a two year full time residential course. The course has a seat capacity which changes every year. But overall the seat capacity is close to 55.
