Yes our college have all necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. Almost all the facilities are there and it's accessible to the students.the food is also hygienic. Perhaps ours is the most hygienic canteen in the entire north campus. Overall the infrastructure is perfect
I am student of BA programme with Hindi and political science as my combination. Honestly speaking quality of teaching could be much better . According to me it has not met up to the required standards yet. Although our curriculum is updated but I think it creates a burden on the students
As I have heard from our seniors that placement opportunities are quite good in our college but I don't have much idea about it personally average salary pakage could be 7LPA I guess. College is always supportive during placements.
The cost of our course per year is 14,000 and apart from it there are a lot of things to be bought. Plus including our pg rent it becomes difficult to manage everything altogether but still overall everything is paid off since I have a lot of expectations from my college.
Honestly speaking I haven't explored the campus very closely I don't know how to enjoy the campus life but if I talk about activity so there are a lot of societies to join . All are very supportive and coordinated with each other and definitely our college can handle emergencies
The infrastructure is very good with all the facilities of smart board, green board . The facilities in classroom are as smart board proper lighting fans in some rooms there are air conditioner but in most they are not The wifi is good They are all maintained properly The living spaces are clean and the food is made hygenic .
As Miranda house is ranked NIRF rank 1 so the quality of teaching is very good . It is known for best quality education and development The curriculum is updated regularly but you need to manage yourself how you would be going with it
The placement is high in Miranda house . It depends on every batch the students are placed The college is very supportive at each case the average salary offered is 5-6 lakh I haven't sit in any placements as of now looking further to have a good experience
The course cost per year is 15000-20000 per year . Yes the quality of education is good so the money is worth it Some teacher are best while others you need to catch up with their style of teaching
The students can join various other societies where they can improve
Yes,it have everything. Infrastructure is amazing. All classrooms are Air conditioner. A Huge library is there, almost 5 lakh books are there in the library. Wi- fi facility is available. Hostel facility is also available.
I'm studying Political Science as major subject and Faculty is well experienced. I'm studying this course because of my interest.Yes, curriculum is updated and we're studying the same we need to. It makes job ready too in UNO etc.
I don't have that much information about Placements. But many companies come for placement like Nestle, Dairy milk, TATA, Reliance, Delloite, Colgate, Microsoft and Google. So placement offers are for every stream either humanities or Science.
My course fee for 1 year is 14000 rupees which is a feasible fees And yes, it worth it.
My college is just best. There is nothing negative about it. As it is NIRF ranking 1 college.
It's just amazing.Do join the college and You'll feel your life at the fullest way.
Miranda House top college in delhi university as well as India and all girls want to come in this college because this is a girls collegs . And they give good infrastructure, facilities and equipment .
I love Miranda's academic life beacause this is girls college and all environments is so cool and all time you free u do anything things . I am in B.A. program beacause I am from arts stream. Quality of teaching is good .
Quality of placement is good my mainly friends join a placement program and they achieve job as well as internships and they do best . And all students achieve a good percentage cause of teaching style of miranda
My fee in 13k par year and this not high
I love Miranda's campus life and I am very interested in this college
Miranda like second home of every mirandian girl
The infrastructure is good, though the ACs don't work and the washrooms are not great. Other than this, the Campus is beautiful. There are 3 canteens, many lush gatdens and much more. Though I have heard the hostel is not that great, the food is boring, there is a water and heat problem because of the brick structure.
The faculty is outstanding, especially the senior professors. In English department for example, the professors are both inspiring and friendly. I took B.A.Hons English because of my passion for reading, but once start your academics you get to know there is lot more to it. You will have to work hard, write a lot and only then will you be able to perform good. Honestly, it will not be a cake walk.
Generally, the lowest Placements are about 8 lacs and the highest can go upto 19 lacs. They are clearly better than many other delhi university colleges. Students here are usually interested in either sitting for competition exams or masters, so the placements are not a big deal here.
The course are very affordable. I had to pay about 14 to 15 thousand, and the course was worth it.
Miranda has perhaps the safest campus in delhi university. You can do a lot here, participate in fests, societies, clubs, competitions et cetera without worrying about judgement. Though you might feel that the college is not that fun because it is a gender specific college, you will not witness any fights and politics or other disturbing elements. If you are amused by these things, Miranda is not for you.
I had a great time here. Met the most not-toxic people, enjoyed my studies, felt safe and I never wanted it to end.
Yes college infrastructure is fine..the living spaces are clean and food is hygienic.we get wifi facilities.there is no smart board. The sanitation and drinking water facility is good. The library is very spacious.it has all the books .
The extra curricular activities of our college is outstanding. Our societies performances are praiseworthy in the entire University. The academic life is also good. Yes i think the curriculum is upto date and our studies ate also preparing us for our future
The placement cell is normal. The packages are not that high.it is mostly preference based.but the placement cell is very active in our society . Many big companies come to hire students. Some of the packages are really high and commendable.
It was 12000 . yes i feel it is worthy. Some of the professors are excellent. Their teaching styles are so enlightening. The classes take place as usually.sometimes there is lot of pressure from the teachers.they don't listen to us
The entire college is supportive..the teaching non teaching staff including guards and library staffs are cooperative . Yes it feels safe. The college has facilities for handling emergency situations also
The college has good infrastructure, it's equipped with spacious classrooms with smart boards, clean washrooms (sometimes only), a huge library, maintained lawns both in college and hostel and great lawns to sit and enjoy your free afternoons. The food in the canteen and Pam is nuce and hygiene as well.
I'm currently studying Political Science and Economics. The quality of teaching is average. The faculty is mixed- there are both good and bad professors. The curriculum is updated as per NEP and DU guidelines. However, what we study isn't making us job ready. Although that's not the fault of the college, but the overall education system.
Haven't been a part of placements but in humanities courses, unless it's mass hiring, only a few get selected. For getting selected, you need to know how to give interviews as well as have an impressive resume filled with internships and experience.
Campus life is good. You'll meet and interact with people for all parts of the country although groups do become sometimes from the same regional area. There are a lot of societies and clubs to interact with different people.
Overall Rating - 3.5/5
Every classroom is well equipped and all the necessary facilities are provided. In classroom we have all required facilities. Library is very huge and has every necessary study material where one can seat and concentrate easily.
I am currently pursuing Bsc hons in mathamatics. I chose this course since I am very much interested in this subject. Our syllabus is regularly updated and all the essentials are included in it . I don't think my course makes us job ready but it acts like a step be job ready.
Placements rates are great in our college. Highest salary package was 19.25 lakh per annum. Average is 5.5 lakh per annum. I haven't applied for any placement so I can't make apt review about the placement process but as much I have heard the process is pretty smooth.
My course cost fair enough also it is affordable. Yes, I think it is value for money.
College campus is very beautiful with pleasant environment and greenary. All the students and teachers are very cooperative. Location of college is quite safe with no major difficulties.
Miranda House is one of the best college providing some best experiences and opportunities.
It feels good to have been part of miranda house. All the staffs and faculties members are very cooperative.wifi are not working properly. Library of miranda house are a good source of motivation for study
I studied philosophy as my major, there is one to one interaction with our professor. Their way of teaching is very simple and understandable. the college also provides us with different exposure which makes you to explore your better inner self.
There are placements for other departments like economics commerce also for interns. They are given placements according to their skills. College has also a separate placement cell. Many of my friends are doing internship with good stipend .
Yesss, there is no regretof taking admission in this college.
Safe and healthy environment. College staffs are even more cooperative for specially needed child .
Miranda house has a beautiful campus with spacious buildings, huge parks, basketball court, tennis court, three cafeteria joints seminar halls, huge labs. Wifi is available in the college, almost every book is available in library. Overall the infrastructure of our college is great.
The teaching quality is par excellence. Teachers are highly qualified and professional. Regular tutorials are held to help students clear their doubts. There is a fully equipped library where the resource material is available.
Miranda house is best in terms of placements. Students get placed in companies like HCL, wipro, infosys etc. the placement opportunities are mostly open for all courses and remain unbiased. The average package of campus was 9LPA in 2022.

Hello,
B.A hons. Sociology and NID are two different fields one is a degree course and other is a professional course in designing.in b.a sociology it not only provides knowledge of the books but also provides knowledge more about fieldwork and practice. placement is decent as many companies visit for on campus placement.
NID also provides internship and placement to the students in designing field.so it is upto you which course you want to pursue.dont go for good value and placement college you end up with frustration after sometime if you are not interested in the field.
Hope you understand...
