Its really wonderful as i have excellent experience from this college and the amenities provides by this are completely amazing and. I love them .. There are many facilities which are available in the classroom like neat and clean environment and good electricity supply ,and even the ambience of this college is completely peaceful.
Well, study in this college is really excellent as i am doing maths honours and the teachers of this college usually explain everything deeply.. with proper examples and explanation . And even sometimes i got 90 marks in subjects.
Placement is really nice as in every year more than 80% students get placement and they even. Satisfied with this facility and amenities which are provided by placement sector are really good and wonderful
Yes, definitely..i m getting worth of my money
Its amazing and sometimes we go their for outings with some friends
I m completely satisfied
Miranda house is one of the best colleges in University of Delhi in regards to each and everything. The college infrastructure is amazing, the lecture theatres are fully air conditioned and also the campus is very neat and tidy.
I don’t know about other courses but with respect to my course, my college is among the best. I want to pursue aerospace sciences in the future and I am getting more than enough exposure as an undergrad student.
The placement is all in all very good. However, as my course is a more technical based the qualities of companies that come are not up to the mark. However, it is improving by the year. But you could always find internships.
The College has all the necessary infrastructure- library, open gym, canteen, audio-visual room, wifi, student activity centre etc. All these things are well maintained. The College canteens are of great quality and hygienic.
My department was economics. The teachers are the best asset of the college. They are well acclaimed teachers who are invested in maintaining good relationship and guiding students. The curriculum is decided by Delhi School of economics for economics department and updated each year. However, it could be modified still to make us more industry ready.
For an Arts College, the college has good placements. Average package would be 8-9 lakh. The placement cell is really active and helpful. They hold placement related seminars year round for students to learn how to prepare. The placement cell guides you throughout the placement process.
The course is definitely a value for money course.
Miranda has a vibrant campus riddled with competitions, seminars, club activities. There are a number of societies that students can join for extra curricular experience. It's situated in university enclave and is immediate neighbours with SRCC, Khalsa College, Daulat Ram and is in close vicinity with Ramjas, Hansraj, Hindu, DSE etc.
It is an amazing college and extremelyy beautiful campus. It has most of the facilities. However, some of them might need maintenance. The college also needs to be more disabled-friendly. Rest, it's very well maintained.
The teachers of the college are excellent and do their best to make students feel welcome. They clear all doubts and the college is a very enlightening space to study and learn about things. 10/10 recommend.
It is alright. As I am not sitting for placements, can't tell exactly but it is mostly good. Depends from course to course. Placements for economics-oriented jobs are good, as far as I know,,,,,,,,,,,
Amazing infrastructure. The campus has well furnished classrooms, canteem, amphitheater and playground. The washrooms are well kept. The scenic beauty of the college is a sight to behold. The relaxing environment of the college is its best part.
The teachers of the college are well qualified and well equipped. They are always ready to help the students in the time of their need. The teachers are experienced and play a crucial role in the overall development of the student.
Amazing placement opportunities. The placement cell of the college is super active and always provides the students with all sorts of internship and job opportunities. This helps in the overall development of the student.
Is worth your every penny
Best campus experience
Love every bit of Miranda House.
The collage infrastructure is captivating with the red brick walls and beautiful trees and landscape! The classrooms are big and spacious. The library is spectacular. The auditorium and the garden/lawn simply adds to the charm.
The college offers a variety of courses for every stream. The professors are very friendly, understanding and willing to help the students with their needs. Regular lectures and tutorials are held by the professors.
Rated as the number one college according to the INRF ranking, it ensures great placement opportunities. The college also has a placement cell for its students which offers excellent opportunities even for internships.
Yes, Miranda House has all the facilities needed. We have a huge library and sports centres. The hostel is really beautiful. The gardens are an amazing place to hangout at. The canteen is well managed and food is hygienic.
Miranda House is known for its excellence in academics. It's #1 college for a reason. The faculty is great and teachers are friendly. They try their best to make you understand the topic. There are sessions called mentor-mentee where teacher can talk to their students about issues they're facing in college.
We have a placement cell which offers us daily internships and placements. It's really useful for students. College brings you amazing job opportunities as well as internship opportunities from legit companies.
Since it's in DU, Fees is pretty affordable. 12k/year.
It's beautiful and full of lush greenery. The buildings will definitely remind you of Howarts!
Have not been to college yet due to the pandemic. The photos give a very academic, old school feel. Red bricks and long hallways like some English film. Big beautiful grounds as well, and many beautiful flowers and cats.
I am studying Philosophy. The curriculum is updated. It is an interesting subject. It does somewhat prepare you for the outside world. However direct jobs are hard to get. It prepares you. It’s a good subject for govt jobs as well as law. Philosophy helps you in whatever you chose to do.
I am not sure. There is a good placement cell in out college. They take care of placements. Again, in my subject, placements are difficult. However, there are many opportunities and they do come to you, if you keep your eyes open.
About 15000. Yes, we have webinars and lectures with experts who have extensive knowledge in their field. They explain things in a wonderful manner, simple yet profound. The teachers are very warm and accommodating.
Haven’t been there yet. The photos indicate that they are very beautiful. There are fests and a whole lot of action. Many prominent people come to give talks. It is a safe location and there are many activities that student can be a part of. In fact, there are too many, balancing academics and fun oftentimes becomes hard.
the college is filled with every kind of facilities from hostel to beautiful gardens, also the canteen is the most famous one...classes r too spacious...libraries provides us book on almost every topics..
Miranda house is no 1 college since 3 consecutive years, its no doubt the best college...teachers r quite Cooperative and highly experienced...also they provide us with mentors and counselor to solve any personal issues we r facing...in terms of eca every imp functions r held, evrry1 is given equal opportunities... more thn 20 societies r there to show off our skills..
I dont have much idea abt this as m new, bt yes theres a society named placement cell which helps us to enhance our interaction skills nd increase our placement oopportunities....also the placement depends upon the subject u r opting..
Fees is the lowest among other colleges of du with one of the best facilities and teachers...its jst 14k/year..
As I've already mentioned the campus is too beautiful with lush green gardens, canteens with delicious food,a gym, sports ground,everything..
No
The infrastructure of the college is quite good.classrooms are pretty neat n clean n all facilities are provided. We have amazing laboratories n a big library. As we're in online mode so I'm not residing in hostel, but I've heard from my friends that it's pretty good.we have a mess that provides good food(although aloo n dal is mostly cooked?) n you get fruits as well. But in hot summers, residing in hostel is not easy as they don't have AC's but if you can manage then not a big deal.
I'm studying history Hons n i must say I've the best teachers of the country. The efforts they put n the teaching techniques they use ,make you love the course. Tbh the teachers put more efforts than students n they are always ready to help each n every student. All the recent updates regarding the subject are shared with us. in this online mode when it's a bit difficult to understand everything that's being taught to us, they conduct weekly tutorials with different groups for clearing doubts.
The placement cell is quite active. In this online mode, various webinars n such events are conducted for the same. The college societies are very helpful for this. N yeah various students from our college have got quite good placements. So overall it's good.
It's worth every single penny . You get the best quality education here. N bcz it's a govt college you don't actually have to spend a lot.One gets to interact with renounced personalities here. I remember attending meetings with Supriya Gandhi, Ramchandra Guha, n Rajkumar Rao etc.. here you get exposure so getting into this college is life changing trust me. N it's economically pocket friendly. My course fee is 28000 per annum I guess which is cheaper than other private colleges.it feels homely.
It's in North Campus n this is a wow factor. The staff, seniors n other people here are helping n welcoming. we have the best lawns in whole campus. The lush green gardens where you can click some of your best pictures? we have gym for fitness freaks. We've best cafeteria.eat what you wish.N it's located near Ramjas, Hansraj n other amazing colleges. Medical facilities are provided n it's very safe. No ragging or bullying. You'll get to meet the best people of your life here❤️
I hope this Pandemic gets over soon so I can witness the last year of my college in campus. Miranda is a vibe. I've got to learn so much here from everyone I met here. I've friends from South India, North India from northeast n they are my second home.the education I've get here is outstanding. This college made me more confident, expressive n a much better human being. I feel privilege to get into this institute. Once a mirandian, always a Mirandian ?

Hello,
B.A hons. Sociology and NID are two different fields one is a degree course and other is a professional course in designing.in b.a sociology it not only provides knowledge of the books but also provides knowledge more about fieldwork and practice. placement is decent as many companies visit for on campus placement.
NID also provides internship and placement to the students in designing field.so it is upto you which course you want to pursue.dont go for good value and placement college you end up with frustration after sometime if you are not interested in the field.
Hope you understand...
