It has best infrastructure and only Miranda has total of 4. Canteens in entire Delhi university, so no issue with the food The red bricks of Miranda makes it exceptionally beautiful that many hit movies like “Kavir Singh” “Raazi” etc. have been shot here!
They have good professors with outstanding academic helps, they always keep students motivated, they take students to different research centres to understand the ongoing development more efficiently.
Placements here are decent, but still there is more scope in off campus placements, Big educational hub visits during you M.sc to offer you teaching at their coaching centers so placement is decent here
Yes they are value for money, it offers great courses and good professors who always keep you motivated for upcoming live that students gonna face, they teacg to face challenges as well, so overall its great value for money
They have very cool campus live, always engaging and it’s known best for it’s annual fest known as tempest, they have n numver of societies and provide great exposure for students. Professors here are very cool too!
Overall it is a top college in university of Delhi, admissions here is a dream for many students so keep working hard to take admission here in Miranda House and have a good college life ahead for 3 years!
My experience with the infrastructure has been quite good overall. The classrooms are spacious and well maintained, with air conditioning in some of them. The labs are well equipped with the required instruments and personal lockers are also provided. The campus is decently clean, but the greenery is definitely one of my favourite things about the college, with beautiful flowers and gardens almost everywhere. The canteen is quite basic but very affordable. The WiFi is one area that could be improved as it is not very fast and is not accessible equally well throughout the campus. The Digital Resource Centres with computers are useful, and the library is one of the best facilities, with air conditioning and a huge collection of books.
The professors are very supportive and well qualified, and I have generally had a good academic experience here. Classes are rarely cancelled and the practical classes are a great learning experience. The workload is moderate in science courses and relatively less in other courses. The Life Sciences syllabus is well compiled and covers the important concepts properly. Research opportunities are also available if students choose to pursue the optional fourth year. Attendance is not extremely strict, although examination results can sometimes take four to five months to be released.
I would say that the placement opportunities are not particularly great, especially for science courses. Companies such as Unacademy and Physics Wallah do provide opportunities for science students, but the options are comparatively limited. For Life Sciences in particular, placements are not very strong and usually only around two or three students from a batch get placed. Students interested in science careers may therefore have to look beyond campus placements and explore higher studies, research or other opportunities.
The college atmosphere is amazing and very positive, with cats to greet you at almost every corner. The societies are also great and there is always something happening on campus. The fest season is especially bustling and upbeat. The people are generally very sweet, and the all girls environment provides a comfortable and safe space for students. Overall, campus life is definitely one of my favourite things about Miranda House.

Miranda has the best infrastructure, I love my college and the facilities it provides. It has all the facilities which a good college should have. Miranda is best for the girls, so do take admission here.
Miranda is best for all the academic and non academic activities. It provides best quality education. Miranda has given many civil servants and is on the way also. People here are more interested in UPSC , and the college environment gives the environment for the same.
Miranda has one of the best placements here. The placement cell here is more and so active, it is mainly led by college students only. The companies it provides are Deloitte and amazon.and many more .
Miranda House has excellent infrastructure with spacious classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, a rich library, clean hostels, lush green surroundings, and modern facilities. The campus is well-maintained, safe, and provides a comfortable environment for learning and overall development.
The academics at Miranda House are excellent, with experienced faculty, a well-structured curriculum, interactive teaching methods, and regular seminars. The college encourages critical thinking, research, and holistic learning, ensuring strong academic growth.
Miranda House offers good placement opportunities through its active placement cell. Reputed companies visit the campus, providing internships and job opportunities, while career guidance sessions help students prepare for professional success.
Miranda House offers excellent value for money with affordable fees, outstanding faculty, quality infrastructure, rich extracurricular opportunities, and a prestigious academic reputation, making it a worthwhile investment for higher education.
Campus life at Miranda House is vibrant and enriching, with cultural festivals, active student societies, sports, engaging events, and a welcoming atmosphere that fosters friendships, creativity, confidence, and personal growth.
College infrastructure is good (its building, canteen area, classes or rooms). Also, some of the rooms have the facility of AC. The sitting arrangement of the college is better and comfortable also. Living spaces are cleared and yes food is hygienic but sometimes there was a crowd.
In the term of academic, our college provides best education in every subject or fields. It also have Extra Curricular Activities like NSS & NCC societies, sports and so on. So, yeah, in the term of academics, it is best..
I don't know about the placement like how much placement it's provide but I heard, the placement is better enough in the college . And also I think the minimum placement it's provided is really better enough.
Yes, it is worthy. Because many types of functions and fest organised here. The problem is that sometimes the students don't support but really it is worthy to give money and some support for the college.
The campus life of the college is really.. the best. Means, the campus is very beautiful and also safe for girls. It also surrounded by many types of beautiful flowers that look really nice. I mean really campus is fantastic.
The campus is clean, green, and well-maintained. Classrooms are spacious, the library is excellent with a wide collection of books, and the laboratories are well-equipped. The college also has good sports facilities and Wi-Fi. You will fall in love with it's aesthetics and beauty.
The faculty is knowledgeable and supportive. Classes are interactive, and the curriculum provides a strong academic foundation. Regular assignments and practical work help in understanding concepts better. Physics labs are well equipped and a bit tedious due to its long hours.
Placement opportunities are good for many courses, especially professional ones. Internship opportunities are also available through the placement cell, although students pursuing higher studies often focus more on academics. But in specific courses like eco and maths . Mostly people from physics are into research or abroad not for placements here
The quality of education, facilities, and opportunities offered make it a great value for the fees charged.
Campus life is vibrant with numerous societies, cultural events, fests, seminars, and workshops. The environment is inclusive, friendly, and encourages overall personality development.
Miranda in itself is a wonderful experience that you won't forget ever in your life.
It's a really great institution everything from faculty to infrastructure is top notch. Most of the classrooms have ac's,many classrooms have smartboads and the one's that don't will soon have those , however the wife doesn't work in certain spots inside campus, the librry is well maintained it's neatly sectioned and peaceful
I was told that in college the teachers don't focus on students like the way teachers do in schools but Miranda proved that wrong ,most of the teachers are really nice and they teach really well. However some teachers do some uninterested sometimes but still overall the academic environment and faculty is great
I don't know much about placements but I've heard that some students of our college got into some really great institutions and companies but most of the students in miranda House aren't interested in private sector
It's not that much compared other private institution it's under 20000 per year so yeah it's great.
My overall experience at Miranda House is awesome I got meet really good people the environment inside the campus it's really friendly and cozy it's location is also quite good it's near a metro station and bus stand and the area the really lively and safe.
Miranda has very beautiful infrastructure however it lacks AC in alot of classrooms and canteen. Living spaces are clean and the food is good. Only in the heat the college suffers from having no comfortable place of leisure. Wifi is slow but available and smart boards work.
I'm studying economics and the academics are definitely very interesting. The curriculum is well written but it lacks some real world knowledge. It is suited to research and people studying higher education but it doesn't make you feel job ready.
I haven't had to go through the placement hustle but as far as i can see placements at Miranda are good, with reputed recruiters offering opportunities across sectors. The average package is around ₹6–8 LPA, while the highest reaches about ₹20 LPA. The Placement Cell is supportive and the recruitment process is well-organized.
My course costs 16k per year and it is definitely worth it. While private colleges charge lakhs per year, a government colleges gives you the exposure and status in much less. Even with the few gaps, for the money it is definitely value.
Campus life is very entertaining. There's alot of societies for students to join from Music, Art, Dance, Theatre, etc. and even niche interests. Students are very friendly with each other and finding the right teachers who support you pays off.
