As a Hindi Honours student at Miranda House, I find the academics enriching. The professors are knowledgeable, supportive, and encourage critical thinking and discussions. Inshot the professors are Fantastic.

Placements at Miranda House are decent, especially for commerce and science courses. Humanities students also get exposure through internships, societies, and skill-building opportunities. But For Language side people it will provide you guidance only as I know.

Miranda house is dream of many. And honestly, its a good college. Being the top tier college, its worth going for. The college is well maintained, has the necessary items. Off course the quantity can always be improved but uts worth it. Definitely

The academics is good. The students in here are those who ate already good in good in academics. The college provides the right environment to them. But still you have to put efforts individually to gain something.

I dont have much idea about that. . However a lot of students do internships. See the degree itself isn't enough. But you gather other essentials along the way. However we have societies like placement cell and all so. So there are definitely options.

Value for money, definitely. It's quite affordable, inside the college atleast. Amd if you manage hostel, its sorted. The pg expenses could be a bit tricky. And living in the capital too isn't exactly cheap.

Quality of placement is good as mostly students get placed around 80% are placed everytime the highest package goes around 30 lpa that goes to economics and computer science average salary would be around 35 k according to my knowledge.

Yes it is value for money as my cost was 16000 for this course and i got a scholarship so it was fully refunded and no extra charges are there so it is worth to me e get a lot of facilities fests sessions trip from the college

It is definitely awesome its all cool around and i.love my campus life because we get good food safe environment fests to enjoy lectures to learn the location is also near vishwavidyalaya metro station so that's great and accessible .

The college has all the necessary equipments, facilities and a beautiful infrastructure. However more work can be done on building a proper sports complex and gymnasium. The hostel seats are very limited which is a problem obviously but despite that the college in itself is wonderful.

I am currently pursuing philosophy Honors and unlike many it was my first preference but I feel philosophy courses everywhere has people who never wanted philosophy but had to take it because of the college but I feel slowly and gradually people start gaining interest and the batch becomes more competitive and discussive which supportive and experienced proffesors it really is fun. When people ask me if philosophy will ever get me a job? Um I am sceptical about that but I pursued philosophy as a study that I enjoy and what I know will be a subject that will stick with me all my life. Anyhow a college like miranda provides a lot of opportunities in which you learn and grow outside of your course and it you grab those opportunities well enough it's all good

I being a first year have no huge idea about the placements but I have seen alot of my seniors from BA Hons or even from my course getting decent placements in Arihant publications or oswaal and all, and the once who focus on there resume and skills even get packages upto 21 lpa which is obviously decent for a college graduate.

It's very affordable, my fease was around 15-16k for an year. However alot of students do not get accomodation in the college residence and pgs and flats might take your annual expense upto 2-3 lakhs. If miranda ever tries building new hostel buildings and accommodates most of its students or atleast balance the hostel seat and addmission seat ratio I feel the annual expense fall drastically.

Miranda was a college that I never even researched about it was my second preference but my first day in the campus made me realise one thing that the college is really vibrant and you'll feel it , there's some or the other thing going on be it seminars, fests, conferences. You'll meet alot of people and someone told me that your time in miranda will be a time when you'll meet the most amazing, passionate and ambitious women. About the crowd I feel there's someone for everyone. I do feel that miranda is a very populated college and the college is not big enough to accomodate these many students. But yeah the crowd is nice, you find your people and slowly make a place there.

My department of philosophy has teachers with highly knowledgeable skills who are great advisors and seniors are supportive. The college also organises seminars for academic talks that helps a student to grow out of the classroom

Miranda feels like home to me to be honest. It's very safe. And as a girl it's such a big compliment to the college that the campus is very safe for the girls and when you have empowering women by your side you surely succeed.
